My husband and I were really looking forward to our dinner at Belissio's. However, our server set a bad tone with her cold reception. No smile, no how are you. We felt that we were a bother to her day. The meal was fine. I weigh service heavily, therefore the 2-star overall rating. We won't be back.
Our server, Molly, was fantastic and took very good care of us. The salad was lovely, however, the Risotto was undercooked and a little too al dente. Very good wine, fun restaurant, would go again.
Worth a splurge! The interior was very classy, and my husband and I worried we were underdressed, but the service was so friendly that our fears quickly passed. Every host and server greeted us with a smile, and our waiter, Josh, took great care of us. We started with the Artisan Cheese Platter (excellent), and I enjoyed the super flavorful Pappardelle Seafood Puttanesca and my husband had the Walleye Milanese.
