Fun use of an old neighborhood building. Feels a little more student union than bar, which isn't entirely a bad thing - but chilling out the music and bright lights would make it a better neighborhood joint.
Excellent hole-in-the-wall type bar. Don't expect a party bar or tons of liquor, but a solid beer selection and top notch bar food makes for a great culinary experience. The hotdogs are spectacular, with many unique combinations, and the pizzas, while generic, hits the spot for what it is. All is fairly well priced as well! Knew this was a younger scene. Great beer selection, 3x IPAs. Frozen pizza and gourmet hot dogs. The barkeep, Elliott, was awesome. Attentive, engaging, and polite. Bags and Sega upstairs. They could use a d*** waiter. Great upstairs space. Ditch the wine, maybe bring in margarita on tap!? I’ll be back tomorrow.
