“Honestly, this place deserves 10 stars! My wife and I had reservations for our 15 year wedding anniversary and wow did they go above and beyond!! They had the most delicious food and my wife who has celiac disease had so many options to pick from for food. They made our night so special and I was beyond impressed. We were both brought to tears from how friendly and kind the staff were. 10000000% recommend to anyone and everyone!!! Thanks so much again - Brandon and Julie :)“

“Another amazing meal to celebrate a friend’s birthday (Anne). Niki was our server and from the moment we arrived (90 minutes before our reservation time) we had excellent service and advice. The wine was outstanding (and a bonus, it was Wednesday half price wine day). Split by 3 a bottle was ideal. Anne had the smorgasbord which was a visual sensation and exploded with delicious flavors! Lynn had the beets followed by the asparagus and egg sandwich. All of it was a delicious treat. I had the curry mussels with a side of fritas and as much as I wanted escargot I was full and content. Oh but the cream brûlée shared completed our meal.“

“Love the Tappa Keg Inn!! I love the old time charm, friendly (and fast!) staff, and the food!! My favorites are the pork chop special on Tuesdays and the hot beef sandwich. The number one favorite is the Friday night prime rib. Tender and flavorful!!“

I had a Coney Dog, and I’m not gonna lie, I wasn’t sure initially how good it was gonna be once I had it in front of me! Just like the place itself, the hot dog looked pretty humble. But my GOD, I don’t know WHAT was in that sauce, but I IMMEDIATELY ordered another Coney as soon as I inhaled my first one. Honestly, I wished I hadn’t eaten all day because of how many I WISH I could’ve eaten (they did have a buy 5 get one free deal…)!

They do sell their Coney Sauce by the pint, and if I wasn’t leaving Duluth tomorrow, I would have purchased TWO.

Please do NOT overlook Su’s Coney Island, man. 10/10.“

“This is truly a hidden gem. Found it through a google search, as it was near a shop we were visiting in Hermantown. Unsuspecting on the outside, cozy warm and friendly on the inside. The food was great and the staff were too. Highly recommend.“

“Sue is always full of warmth and love ready to spark up conversation. Her Gyros taste like a true traditional fresh shaved gyro. Every can of soda pop is ice cold. Her little corner is always clean and buzzing with chatter. 9/10 times I will take my kids here after shopping for a coney dog, per THEIR request. It's just THAT good.“
