“My wife and I have driven past this place hundreds of times and kept saying we need to eat there one day. Every couple months for the past year we have finally been going. The food is great, the portions are massive, the price is good and service is usually really good. If you are hungry and driving past, make the stop even though everyone there will stop eating and stare at you for a couple minutes wondering who you are and why you are there. Don't let that intimidate you, they won't bite.

Kid-friendliness: They have kids eat free with paid adult, but I don't remember what day of the week it is.”

“Hamburger basket. Yum! There is such a good variety of choices on there menu. It is such a comfortable family atmosphere. It is nice that they have a kids area and an arcade space so the whole family can enjoy there time there at the Road Trip Bar and Grill. The owners have done an amazing job with there Bar and they care about there patrons and community. The owners Craig and Sue are so thoughtful and kind. I would definitely recommend stopping in and meeting there friendly staff.”

“this place is worth the drive! We were hiking at the nearby Whitewater State Park and tried this place. This might be the first restaurant that me, my wife and both kids loved. My kid had a burger(really well seasoned), my wifre and I shared a mexican dish. 100% reccomend. I live three hours away or else we would be regulars. Clean place, friendly staff, awesome food.”

“Such a fun little gem we found after climbing the Elba Fire Tower. Tony was so much fun and welcoming. Great bartender who had amazing service. And the local patrons were friendly and provided many laughs. What started as a 30-min stop to buy a Elba T-shirt turned into 3 hours of great conversation, many laughs and Tony showing me what MN pull tabs are all about! Such a great time! Check them out!!!”

“It's a cool bar. I always stop there when I'm in St.Charles. The cheese curds were wonderful!!!!! Our poor server though they definitely should of had more people working it was crazy busy and she was the only one running to take orders and serving the food.”

Food was hot and good. Wait was reasonable and they got thru the order line quickly. It was separate enough from gas station that it felt like I could enjoy my meal with the family on our way through town.”
