Hands down, our favorite bar when visiting each year for annual BWCAW trip! Thank you Zaverls!
The owner is rude and not friendly at all. We stayed and drank at the worst karaoke I have ever been to. Then was gonna try and sleep it off in our camper van in the parking lot for a little while and was told by the owner that it is private property and we had to leave. She said the she didn’t care that we had been spending money at her bar all night. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Zaverl's Bar is a cute neighborhood place where nice people hang out. The owner, Bob, makes the best gin and tonic. It might be considered a dive bar or just a small town bar, with good beer prices and friendly staff. The walls are filled with kitch. It's a great location for political discussions, but be careful - one reviewer got thrown out for talking about mining.
