“What an amazing find we stumbled across! The service was exemplary, our waitress was so sweet and kind. my coffee never got much less than half before it was refilled and the food was incredibly delicious. We ordered some loaded potato kegs to go and they were indescribably delicious when we reheated them 6 hours later! We will definitely be stopping every time we're in the area.”

“In our early morning travels we were looking for a place to eat breakfast. Our large family stopped right as they were opening. Cook and waiter were friendly, the place was clean, coffee hot and fresh, the food was homemade, made from scratch. Best cornbeef hash, omelet's and biscuits and gravy! We would have stopped for dinner on our way home, but they were already closed for the day. 5 stars from our entire family!”

Philly Cheesesteak with au jus is hubby's favorite. Super good homemade pizza and lots more. You will not be disappointed in the food or the service.”

The simple menu features oak-smoked brisket, pulled pork, and salmon dishes for dine-in, pickup, or DoorDash. “I ain’t even gonna hold you this place is pretty gas. Only downside is they don’t allow guns and cigs. The pizza I got with a side of bull balls was the best food I’ve ever had. My buddy Gabe said this place wasn’t all that good. My buddy gabe and I now have extreme beef over this. Overall I’d rate it 4.989888969420/5.5”

“Wife and I went there on whim. We started with a delicious cup of red pepper gouda soup, then I had a pulled pork sandwich (even got coleslaw to throw on it!) And my wife got a really interesting/delicious burger with freaking hot sauce on it! We shot some pool while we waited for our food, the service was perfect, everything came out as ordered. 10/10”

“This place is. Must stop when in Cloquet, this has got to be one of the coolest old bars around. The Fitgers memorabilia is amazing and the atmosphere of this very nicely restored building is fitting to its era. I have driven by this place so many times over the years, I kick myself now for not stopping sooner. The owners enjoy giving you the history of this amazing building. You have to stop and at least grab a drink if passing through Cloquet, MN. I assure you, you will be glad you did!”

“This bar was the best surprise on my trip! My boyfriend and I like to bar hop and we came across Carmen’s and thought we would give it a try. We both ordered a meal, the food was phenomenal, and the portions were huge for a great price. The atmosphere was perfect for us and the customer service was one of the better places we’ve gone. I should also mention it’s a family owned business which we love to support. Everyone was friendly and more than helpful to recommend other places, a special thanks to Ryan and Kali for taking care of us. We have been through Cloquet twice in the last year, we will never go through again without stopping at Carmen’s!”

“It must be a night "off". I ordered a small lasagna with an extra slice of garlic bread. Upon opening, the lasagna was deconstructed. the sauce was amazing but chunky! The meal was luke warm and tasted microwaved. I'll try again because the sauce is so good. *Sidenote* I was told 5 p.m. so the driver who came back from delivery took my name. The young woman was so friendly when she came out! Unless it had been sitting 15 minutes, it shouldn't have been luke warm with hard cheese. I recommend a second try but not sure when. There are many places with hot, fresh lasagna.”

“I was looking for some prepped meal options that are tasty and healthy…I think I’ve found it. We tried some of the big national brands as a busy couple without a ton of time to make meals. They were all fine for a while, but to be honest they never tasted great. We were between meal prep companies, and we got a recommendation for Individual Nutrition, so we went for it! Their meals were super varied, which was great. We went with all the gluten free options, because we’re that kind of household. They were great. Tasty protein bowls, great porketta and some fun apple protein pancakes! We ate and enjoyed all of them and it looks like their menu continues to expand with more options. I’ve heard rave reviews about their smoothies but haven’t tried them yet. They were easy to work with, the meals came as promised and in great shape, and they have been super fast to respond to any questions I’ve asked along the way. I’d highly recommend them, and we will certainly continue to order to make our lives easier while knowing we’re eating something healthy that actually tastes good!!”

“The enviroment at this establishment is fairly welcoming! After meeting with the owners--whom are very respectable-- I would highly recommend coming here to meet with this family owned eatery. The food here is phenomenal especially their chicken and waffles If I had had to rate this food I would give this a 9/10 the flavor combination is delicious and is unique! After tasting the burger and cheese curds I almost went to cloud 9! I would rate the cheese curds a 8.6/10 and the burger a 6/10. If I would rate this place I would have to say 10/10 highly recommend and I would come again!Kid-friendliness: The kiddos are welcomed!”
