“My husband and I came from Ohio to celebrate his birthday and we had some time to kill before attending Paisley Park for our tour. So we stopped at this establishment and the staff and the people in the area were friendly. As for the brew I'm not a beer drinker but I did try the Rosé seltzer and it was really good. Hubby and I definitely had a great experience!”

“I have been going to Cafe 12:2 for over five years at this point, and the quality never disappoints! They have a wide variety of hot, cold, and blended drinks such as mochas, lattes, frappuccinos, drip coffee, etc. There are bottled soda pop and water as well, and apart from beverages they also sell yogurt, cheese and beef sticks, candies and pastries. All of the products are reasonably priced; in the five years I've been at 12:2, there has only been a 25 cent raise in price primarily because of a switch to a higher quality coffee brand. All the staff are friendly and understanding, the layout of the Cafe is warm and aesthetically pleasing, and of course all the drinks look and taste amazing!

Kid-friendliness: Kid-friendly snacks such as fruit snacks, cheese sticks, and goldfish are sold. Hot chocolate can be made less hot for the little ones.

Parking: All parking is free and a short walk from the Cafe.

Wheelchair accessibility: Along with stairs, there is an elevator guests may use.

Dietary restrictions: There are several types of milk products available, including skim milk, soy milk, coconut milk, almond milk, oat milk, and half and half.”

“I had a subway coupon it cost me $7.62 FOR my sons meal this evening for dinner. They have a clean sandwich shop off of water street in Excelsior. There are tables with chairs available at the tables. So you can eat in thier sandwich shop. Its very nice and clean. My son wanted a chicken sandwich. WITH pepper on it some. And shredded cheese on it with 2 pieces of bacon. The employee cooked it up. And when she brought it out of thier oven. It was very nice and warm. With the topping s melted
And baking the bacon. Then she put lettuce on it along with spinach. It was better than buying a McDonald's meal. And my son wanted lemon aid. So for under $10.00 dollars for one meal. It was a very good price. And they have very nice clean bathrooms. Thank you.”

“I’ve been here half a dozen times (parking is kinda difficult lately due to all the construction). I’ve brought friends here. I’ve had the best time, best coffee, and best almond croissants. Sitting outside - front or back - is always a treat. Now that my bicycle is fixed, I can come more often. Love this place!”

“A cute little space with a fireplace, seasonal decorations, paintings on the walls, free WiFi, a diverse menu, group seating and individual seating, cold drinks in a fridge, customer bathroom, children's art, bulletin board for community flyers, a water dispenser, checkerboard table with checkers (recycled bottle caps), etc. My baristas were extremely friendly and service was quick. Caramel frappe was delicious. They feature local art vendors and I purchased an adorable pair of earrings. If I lived here, I would be in this coffee shop every single week.”

“Had a wonderful experience for dinner on a very busy Dec. 23rd. Our party of 3 arrived at about 6:10 to a waiting list of approx. 6 other parties. We were told 20 minutes to wait, it was no more than 15 minutes. Service was spot-on time-wise and efficiency-wise. Food was excellent. Portions were huge. I feel it is a great place to enjoy a meal.”

“A beautifully appointed restaurant with a perfect menu selection.

One key thing not to miss are the side dishes the carrots with dates where incredible with just the right blend of spices to make such a simple side dish unforgettable.

For those that are worried about the horseradish spread, don’t worry the kick is very “Minnesota” light you won’t even know it’s horseradish.”
