“I'm in the hospital after contracting norovirus on 8/22/22 at this establishment simply due to an employee not washing their hands after a bowel movement and then making my cheeseburger. I was extremely ill from this and was told by the Dr taking care of me that if I hadn't sought medical attention when I did, my husband would have found me unconscious in septic shock. Symptoms included violent vomiting, severe abdominal pain, severe dehydration, and bad diarrhea! This has been one of the most miserable and painful illnesses I've endured and want people to be aware. WASH YOUR HANDS PEOPLE!!! Every single one of us were taught in elementary school the importance of good hand washing especially after going to the bathroom!!!“

The ice cream and food were excellent, as they always are, but I especially wanted to highlight the character and presence of this particular team member. We were greeted by a gentleman named Matt (I believe that was his name per his name tag). He had a positive tone and demeanor right from the start and used classic DQ-friendly language, something along the lines of, “What kind of tasty treats can we serve you today?” which genuinely made us smile.😁

During ordering, I had a few basic requests and even changed my mind partway through. Matt normalized it completely, added some flair and positivity, and never made me feel like I was asking for too much. He was helpful, kind, and clearly enjoyed what he was doing. What stood out even more was watching how he interacted with his coworkers, friendly, respectful, and upbeat. It was refreshing to see someone who not only enjoys his job but brings that positive energy to both customers and colleagues. Great experience all around!“
