Rocky Bottom at the Y

We had planned on eating at the casino, but after realizing that was going to take a lot longer than we wanted to wait for food we knew was going to be mediocre, we decided to find somewhere else. First time at Rocky Bottom, staff greeted us when we walked in and were friendly and helpful. Our food choices were all excellent, I really enjoyed the sweet potato fry dipping sauce! Excellent service. Husband loved the walleye sandwich - battered and fried, Generous portion. Fries were just okay but the homemade chips came out warm and delicious. I definitely would just stick with the chips as a side. Great view of the lake - frozen, presently - but I bet sitting on the patio in the summer is lovely.

"Perfectly Geographic" is the first superlative that comes to mind when you arrive at the property. I stumbled in the first time just to talk shop with a colleague and was thoroughly impressed by the lakeside dining facing Lake Mille Lacs. The servers are super inviting and are very attentive to the guests. Karen and Justin are often conveying their appreciation for the passersby and random vacationers that wander in.
