“We attended a wedding their on Saturday night. I was blown away. The food was top notch and the service was excellent. There was 320 people there and we were served an amazing meal. The food was hot and delicious. We had pork chops and were cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was beautiful. Their employees served the room like a fine oiled machine. I even talked with the owner and chef. They definitely put their heart and soles into their business!”

“We stopped in a few weeks ago at 8:20 PM on a Saturday night in July….was told, “the kitchen is closing at 8:30 so we’re not taking any more tables.” Okay? Every restaurant I’ve worked at it didn’t matter if you showed up one minute before closing, you got served. If you close your kitchen at 8:20, update that in your hours. Also, who closes their kitchen at 8:20 on a Saturday night with people still coming in? Past experiences have been good but this was more than mildly annoying.”

“Penny's Diner is supposed to be a 24/7 restaurant open to the public according to it's advertising. Lately Penny's Diner in Glenwood MN has been turning customers away after 9 PM. I don't believe this is a very good business practice and has lost Penny's diner 3 customers and probably more that have not left reviews. This used to be a good place for good food late at night.”
