“This place is a dream come true! The food is incredible, from the huge modular entrees to the gigantic “mini-feast”, or the ribs which were the best I’ve ever had. What I am most excited about however is the brunch! I am planning on coming back every Sunday to try all of their brunch items.“
“Authentic? Absolutely! How can it not be? The chef is authentically Hmong, his experiences are Hmong, and thus his food is ? Hmong! Traditional? Not completely. I love it for what it is…an evolution of the Hmong food diaspora here in America! While visiting my beautiful niece and her little family, I had a strong hankering to eat Hmong food. She suggested this brilliant establishment. The wait was short and the portions abundant. While eating I was transported back to mom/dad’s kitchen, and the after school meals they would prepare for us! The sausage is excellent and had all the flavors of Hmong new year. Lemongrass, fat, herbs, salt…and crunch! The pork was perfectly cooked and we loved dipping it in hot sauce along with the sticky rice. I highly recommend this authentic Hmong dining experience and can not wait to dine at Vinai next time I visit. I just wish Seattle had something similar. I'll break it into chunks where certain topics might matter to you (:Parking:- plenty of street parking, freeDining:- waiter was very nice and very attentive- was able to sit at a table quickly- food came out pretty fast- bathroom and inside the restaurant was clean- plenty of seating inside tooFood:- the spring rolls were sooooo delicious! (: the peanut dipping sauce was sweet but very flavorful. I think this is probably one of my favorites now for fresh spring rolls. The shrimp chicken combo was also very nice and flavorful.- chicken pad see ew: it's interesting to have bell peppers and squash in it, but I like having more veggies in my dishes (makes me feel a bit more healthier XD). The chicken isn't like rubbery or hard but shreds nicely when you bite into it. There's a light tint of a flavor like sesame oil. The dish wasn't super oily.Overall, I had a very pleasant dine in experience after my two hikes. This is also just a very cute town area to explore. “This is by far the best Thai that we have in the neighborhood! I usually get pad Thai and red curry anytime I try a new place, and I’ve been disappointed with the two other places nearby—but not here! I asked for pad Thai Flamin hot with tofu and it’s one of the best I’ve had in a very long time. The tofu was perfectly cubed and fried without being greasy, and the sauce a rich brown color with notes of peanut, tamarind, and lime (slightly sweet and tangy), and the spice was perfectly hot without being overpowering. Most other places give me mild/medium when I ask for Thai hot, and this place actually listened. The red curry was also memorable with bright flavors from the Thai basil and veggies. Poured over rice, it’s a heavenly combo perfect for a cold night. I am so grateful to have a new go-to Thai spot! I hope they stick around for a long time.“

We also got the pork egg rolls. Those were very good.If you like pho, you should check out PHOEVER.Parking: Parking in the ramp behind the building is probably easiest. Free parking. Otherwise the free lot across the street has plenty of parking also, but it’s a pain, and dangerous, to try to cross.“
“The food is delicious and SUPER HOT. I had the shrimp green curry with red and green bell peppers. It was served in green curry sauce with rice on the side. I had two appetizers: spring rolls and pot stickers each with its own dipping sauce. The service was exceptional. The food came hot and ready to eat. I had green tea to top it off.“

Our meals were perfectly spiced I had Level 4 stir fry.The menu is simple and basic to order from which tells me they concentrate on a quality over quantity.I think retro is really in right now and the style in this restaurant could actually be a selling point. They have cute crocheted items for sale the front door I might request a Finnish flag purse when I go back. I live close by and this was my first time trying the restaurant but they appear to have a lot of dedicated diners base so the happy photos of customers on the wall.Parking: You have to use a service road to get to the parking lot but there is plenty of parking.“

Lastly, I remember the Fried Rice being really good, and that's primarily what I wanted to review... but they forgot my order and I didn't want to correct the issue (luckily I ordered too much anyways). “Restaurant was empty when we got there and packed within 30 minutes - all the tables were reserved. With it being such a small spot I definitely recommend making a reservation when possible. Our waitress was absolutely wonderful, she was detailed and helpful in answering our questions and recommending drinks. We got a mix of sushi, thai, and ramen, all of which were equally delicious! You could really tell the food was freshly made and of great quality. I recommend trying the thai iced coffee as well if you are up for a cold, sweet, umami drink. A word of the wise for those of us a little less accustomed to asian spice (if you know what i mean...) - please don't lie to yourself about how much heat you can handle, the spicy ramen is SPICY. The “level 3” heat we ordered was a lot. Do yourself the favor and get a 1 if possible and ask for some of the hot sauce on the side so you can add it in to your liking. My friend was absolutely humbled. He was all but in tears. I have never seen his face so red. I think our waitress got a real kick out of this as well (she did try her best to warn us about The Spicy, so it was all in good fun) ? Overall, a great little spot. We'll be returning for sure!!“
