Local fishermen food truck. Herring. Fried and served with house made French fries. The dill tartar sauce with it is delicious! Has option of skin on fish or Cajun fries. Bring across street To beach to dine on picnic tables or bench, great view of lighthouses.

Really enjoyed visiting with the owners today. We ordered fish and fries. Herring was the catch of the day. It's was delish and the fries were soooo good. Loved how friendly everyone was!! Looking forward to our next visit

The fish was excellent and they serve the best fries we’ve ever had! We love our fries well done and crispy. Spot on!

We ordered the trout nuggets. It cost $10 and it was easily worth double that. We walked to a park bench k we looking the lake and ate. If you are I. grand Marais definitely eat here. We had just left the Gunflint Tavern after a horrible meal that we couldn’t even finish and walked past this place, really wish we saw this place first.

The herring (skin on) basket was the best fried herring I’ve ever had. The tartar sauce complimented it nicely (homemade I bet). The Cajun fries were also very tasty with a creole seasoning. I’ll be going back for sure.

$13.83 for all of this?!? Insanely fresh, hot, and perfect cornmeal batter. Couldn’t recommend more! Got the trout nuggets and herring fillet.

Wow this place is amazing! Since trying it I have been here 3 times in two days lol. Hands down the best place in town compared to others that I've been around. They catch their fish fresh in the morning and serve you the day of! Must trust!

The herring with skin and Cajun fries was fantastic and the trout nuggets with Cajun fries was great. The food was very hot, the fish was perfectly soft with a crisp coating and the fries had a great twist with the Cajun seasoning. We’ll be back on our next trip north for sure. A new Grand Marais favorite.

Herring is light and delicate, not at all fishy tasting. All fish caught daily and fresh. Fresh tarter sauce. Waters only, bring your own beverage.
