I never expected to get such authentic Mexican food in Minnesota. The rice, tortillas, carnitas, chile rellenos, and carne asada were all top notch, and if they have those basics down, I trust anything to be good here.
I would highly recommend the food from La Tequila.
This was my first time coming to La Tequila. My immediate impression of the restaurant was that it didn't have the typical Mexican restaurant atmosphere. While I can appreciate that, it seemed a little "cold" and less inviting than most Mexican restaurants. The margarita we had was fairly average . Very nice , excellent service very polite and while sitting at bar witnessed a customer that had left phone and server had phone safe put behind desk. Not only good service honest too.
