“Hajime is our go-to restaurant in Blaine. We almost always go during happy hour with our kids (age 11). We order solely sushi from the happy hour menu for 4 people along with the Spicy Kani Salad and we usually spend about $100-$125 which generally includes a round or two of happy hour drinks. The service is always great, they usually know exactly what we want when we get there! Recommend for sushi or their hibachi menu - their fried rice and yum yum sauce is delicious!“

“Food was good but the staff must not understand English or something. Ordered food and when it was brought out the staff did not clearly explain which order was what. When we asked they looked at us like we were stupid. We tried to tell them something was wrong and they told us they were just going to charge us extra to make up for their error. Found that very suspect. Also the turkey sausage is not turkey sausage it is actually cut up pieces of a real turkey 🤣“
“One of the true hidden gems of the Twin Cities metro, an absolutely fantastic nerd and even kid-friendly space (foosball, arcade machines, darts are all favorites). There are few better places to meet up and play a game - personally, not being a sports person, I love the lack of TVs, nothing to sap your attention or make you feel captive to random commercials. I go there regularly to play TTRPGs. Great beer, alcoholic and non-alcoholic seltzers, you can BYOF (Mashawi grill up the road is delicious). The beers aren't the usual 6 IPAs and 5 sours, there's a nice mix of British and German styles (including wheat beers, which are weirdly hard to find).
There are absolutely a million play spaces in different nooks and crannies in the building, you can always find a quiet place to play even if there's music, etc. The owner hosts tons of events, nerdy and otherwise. I only wish I could drink more beer and go more often.“

“Small and cozy place. Not many tables. We were there on a weekday between lunch and dinner. Got an impression that the place is very popular for take out, people were in and out constantly. “Bricks is one of our go-to spots, my husband and I are there monthly, and for good reason. The bar setup is awesome, the service is always top-notch, and the menu never misses. We know we’re getting incredible food every time, which keeps us coming back. The pizza and burgers? Unbeatable. The truffle fries? An absolute must. And if you haven’t tried the corn dip yet, do yourself a favor and order it... it’ll be a permanent starter in your rotation after one bite. “Can't say enough about this hidden gem. We have become regulars and just love the food. I'm only giving 3 stars for service for today -we have always had Penny as our waitress and she is fabulous, so friendly, polite and fast. The gentleman that helped us today never filled our coffee or did anything after repeated requests for things. We will wait to be sat in Penny's area (she is amazing) or sit at the bar if there is room next visit.“

“Brandon was our server (as well as every other customers server AND the bartender) and he was so wonderful!! My husband and I commented to ourselves many times how great he was. “Pretty sure this restaurant is run and owned by Helen and Martin, when they had The China Restsurant in St. Cloud, MN previously, and it was my absolute favorite St. Cloud restaurant. What a loss to our community when they left..!! So glad to have found them again. Their Hot and Sour Soup is absolutely to Die for. I can't wait to drive to Blaine and get a big Take-out order to tide me over for several days. Really looking forward to it..!!“
