Cam Ranh Bay

I like this place. I live nearby, and so it is easy to stop here. This place has a connection to the former Eden Prairie C R Bay. But not identical menu.I generally like the menu choices and the food, with one exception. The fish sauce (center of all Vietnamese eating) is not great to me. Too sweet, not tart enough, not fishy enough, and not at all spicy. This is a Midwest version of fish sauce that has lost most of the goodness. Fathers Day dinner was a success here. The service was top tier and the food is fresh and flavorful.We tried almost every appetizer due to the size of our party and we were not disappointed; our favorite was the fried shrimp and egg rolls.Each person in our party ordered a different type of entree and all of us enjoyed our choices. Decided to try this place during the week for lunch. We ordered the yellow curry chicken garlic shrimp fried rice and wontons. All were very good, portions were generous. Service was very good, everyone was polite and helpful. During our visit restaurant was 60 - 70% capacity, noise levels were fairly low, was not able to hear surrounding conversations. Found the interior setting to be cozy, not fancy by any means, which suits us.
