“Good stuff for takeout. Big portions ad filling. They were out of what I was going to initially order, but don’t let that intimidate you. Just ask what they do have or what they might recommend. The guy working the kitchen let my friend and I try a couple different types of meat that were both great since we hadn’t had it before. Sambusas were good too but are spicier meat.“

“About every month or so I along with 3 friends find a different restaurant to go to. This month was Olive and Lamb. Awesome💚❣️💚 Wow❣️💚 Our waitress, Macey was patient with us as we were busy catching up❣️❣️ Love the menu that had symbols to show dietary issues💚 When my meal came I know I said Awesome or Wow💚💚 loudly. I really enjoyed my chicken sandwich and fries. My friends enjoyed their meals also. We all really enjoyed ourselves. One of us was the instructor at HTC in Greenhouse and Horticulture and the other 3 of us were students. We all admired the wall hangings on the back wall of plants, moss etc. The vase on the table we were trying to decide what seedhead it was, we did not agree but it was fun to look at and the texture was soft. I asked our waitress if it was found in a garden nearby. She said she thought the owner bought them somewhere. The food, atmosphere and Macey gave us a relaxed time to talk and enjoy every thing around us. 💚💚💚💚💚 I would give you 5 stars but I can't find an emoji💚“

“After exploring the sculpture garden, Loring park and the walker art center. We decided to stop for lunch at Cardamom.
I had the pistachio latte and beet salad and my daughter had the marscapone pistachio French toast with a Shirley temple and we both loved our lunch and the lovely atmosphere.
It did take a bit to get service once seated but we did not mind as the restaurant was relaxing and surroundings were beautiful to look at. Would definitely recommend and stop in again if we are ever in the area“

“What a delightful evening this was! It was truly a dining adventure with the variety of dishes and flavors in such an enjoyable homey atmosphere. Mo was a gracious host and at once we felt at home in his home. There was time to socialize and meet the other diners but also time to enjoy your own privacy with the people you came with to dine. “My friend and I were lucky enough to enjoy the Chef's tasting last night at Mara; what a fabulous time we had. The food was spectacular, the wine pairings were ON POINT, and the best part was the service. From the hostess who seated us all the way thru, we were treated to DELIGHTFUL personalities and kindness. Our server, Corinn (sorry about the spelling), was so knowledgeable and fun and her assistant Elizabeth was as well. the chefs all were so good at explaing the ingredients and techniques and just made great conversations. We commented to each other many times how wonderful everyone was, which elevated the entire experience. Bravo and High Fives all around! I certainly hope to return.“

“I just watched one of Josh’s videos and saw what y’all did. Any business that helps their community is just amazing to see but any business that’s willing to go half in as soon as they heard it was for the homeless shelter just melts my heart and gains my recommendation any day. I Haven’t been to Minnesota and would love to try y’all’s food one day. Just by looking at some of those chicken sandwiches makes me so hungry.“

“Ordered chicken shawarma bowl and it was good not great! Needed more flavors since the rice texture is thick. My husband's chicken shawarma in pita tasted amazing though. I guess if rice were either flavored more or rice were thin textured would have been great!

Kid-friendliness: Restaurant is spacious so people were not bumping into toddler chair like happens at other places“

“Cute little place hidden on the skyway level. Dry rub chicken wings were awesome! Crispy! Gyro pinwheels were also quite delicious. Service was efficient, not overly friendly but they were also very busy so maybe that was the reason. Sat at the bar. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a place to meet friends for drinks and food. Good volume for talking.“

“Reliable place for Greek-Mediterranean food. My family and I visit here at least twice a month when I don’t want to cook. Order online or drop by — food is prepared quickly and is fresh. I like that I can get a quick meal that’s vegetarian with lots of options for veggie and my family can get the meat they want. I know the menu by heart. They’re pretty good about making substitutions if you need. There are better Greek restaurants in the Twin Cities, but at this price point and for the convenience, Falafel King is one of the best choices. Save some money and drink water. Dining in is ok, but not exactly anniversary dinner type atmosphere. Staff is always friendly at Bloomington location.“

“I got the lamb gyro with sweet potato fries for lunch and wow! The amount you get for the price is phenomenal! The sauce for the fries needs to come in a bottle...I'd put it on everything! The sandwich can come in different applications like a bowl, wrap or salad. I got the gyro on pita and barely got through half because of the amount of delicious lamb! This will definitely be my new spot in the skyway.“
