“Always have had awesome food there! Chips & salsa on-the-house, and salsa definitely tastes like it’s homemade with fresh ingredients - along with the rest of their food! Friendly service although I will say sometimes it takes the servers a minute to make their rounds even when it’s slow. All-in-all, I’d rate this place a 8/10.“

“Great food, great service, great staff. We had the fungi burger, tavern burger, pomme frites, dipping sauces(they have a lot), and French onion soup. Everything was perfectly cooked, hot, juicy, crispy, and delicious. Our server was Kendall and she was well informed on the specials and the menu, she was polite and friendly and remembered our orders and asked the right questions. All around impressive.“

“I had the tako yaki and the sashimi variety platter with a tuna roll and everything was soooooo good! Definitely would recommend to anybody who likes sushi. Just beware because everything had a nugget of Wasabi in it. I love wasabi but if you're not expecting it, it can hit you and their wasabi is pretty potent. The waitress/bartender is super nice and we chatted for a bit about the strongest man competition on the screen and shared some laughs, she's very nice. 5/5, will definitely come again.“

“I had #15 gyro and #34 Turkish coffee. Gyro comes with fries and something about them was lit. Gryo was great, may have been putting on too much tzatziki sauce to taste the meat.
Inside could use more decorations to look at.

“Were there last Saturday night with friends for dinner and the festivities outside. Had a great time and very impressed with the service. Some of our party were very late (got lost), but the server and host both were very accommodating. It's been years since we've been there from out-of-state, but thought both the food and event were great. Only small criticism, get a band that plays mostly German songs - don't need to hear oldies from this country at German event (e.g. Neil Diamond?).“

“We came to Stillwater for a nighttime get away and stumbled upon Sal’s. We were seated immediately, greeted by our waitress, Penny with a smile and great conversation! It not a lot but it simply shouldn't happen“

“My husband & I spent the majority of our lives in So Cal & Arizona. We were fortunate enough to have some of the best mexican food in the US, with the culture weaved into our daily lives. Moving to WI, we struggled to find the same. We finally found an authentic mexican restaurant. The food was so good & the staff was friendly & attentive. “Me and my wife, along with our daughter and her husband, had an all you can eat lunch at the Maplewood Tokyo Sushi on August 31, 2025. The service was first-rate, and the sushi was fantastic. Instead of a buffet where the sushi is pre-made, Tokyo Sushi makes each item as it is ordered and brings it to your table. So the fried items arrived piping hot, and the sushi rolls arrive right after they are made. The food is really excellent. Price was about $23.00 a person. A bit pricey, but the value was incredible and well-worth the expense.“
