“Were there last Saturday night with friends for dinner and the festivities outside. Had a great time and very impressed with the service. Some of our party were very late (got lost), but the server and host both were very accommodating. It's been years since we've been there from out-of-state, but thought both the food and event were great. Only small criticism, get a band that plays mostly German songs - don't need to hear oldies from this country at German event (e.g. Neil Diamond?).“

“My mom and I stopped in for lunch. I ordered the lunch ribs. They were some of the biggest ribs I have ever had. Lots of meat and so good! The sides had alot of flavor and everything was fresh. My toddler even approved! I would definitely go back!“

“Stopped in on 1/29/26 evening. The server was very informative of what was on tap. Described them to make a choice. Tried a flight to have a sample of 4 different offerings.

“Every single dish we had was phenomenal! We gave compliments to the chef on truly inspired creations. Our favorite may have been the Brussels sprouts, but we truly loved everything we tried. “We came to Stillwater for a nighttime get away and stumbled upon Sal’s. We were seated immediately, greeted by our waitress, Penny with a smile and great conversation! The menus had great variety and was delicious! This place is worth the trip for us and we WILL be back! Thanks Penny for your awesome service that made our visit that much better!“

“The "Kiss of the Geisha" sushi roll was some of the best sushi that I have ever had. We asked for a recommendation from the friendly server, and that roll hit the spot! Spicy, crunchy, and the fish and crab were excellent quality. Good portion of Wasabi on the side. The saki options offered were great as well. Sitting at the sushi bar is a fun and entertaining experience. Great sushi chefs and great servers.“

“Stopped on a Thursday afternoon to see PT on the patio. The female singer performing was amazing. My wife and I had a couple happy hour apps including wings, nachos and cheese burger sliders. Everything was awesome! Only got a pic of the wings tho. We love this bar and look forward to returning again and again!“

“We recently spent three nights in a Studio Suite. The vibe, decor, atmosphere are outstanding! The staff are friendly and accommodating. The Matchstick was also wonderful. We requested a refrigerator for our room and it was there when we arrived. I do wish we could grab our own ice, but they were quick to bring you ice whenever needed. Our room was spacious! The only thing truly lacking was a closet. With all that space, perhaps a wardrobe of some sort could be added. There were just three hooks on the living room wall with 2 hangers. But, we adapted as we always do, and had an incredible stay here. Very close to great restaurants, bars, shops, the lift bridge, co-op grocery store, etc. Downtown Stillwater is an awesome area. Highly recommend the Hotel Crosby!“

“They do a good job when they get the order correct. I have to order a create your own and pay more for my pizzas to get them made correctly. If I order a standard pizza and modify it they always mess it up. So I pay the $3-$4 more per pizza to get them correct.“

“Ate here for the first time today while visiting Stillwater and both my husband and I were absolutely blown away by how amazing everything was here. The atmosphere and staff were great, the food came out quickly even though they were very busy. We tried the French toast, beignets, lattes, mimosas, chocolate chip banana bread, chocolate chip cookie, peanut butter cookie, plbirthday cake cookie (yes we bought a lot to take home with us). Everything was beyond stellar. Never had a better chocolate chip cookie in my life.“

“We got a pepperoni pizza and ceasar salad. The pizza is top tier, will order again. The flavor of the ceasar dressing was different than what we expected, not their fault though... if you know what's in it, you know how unique the taste can be.“

“We came to Minnesota for a trip and someone recommended us downtown Stillwater I can say it was beautiful! The best part was when we ran into this restaurant that had great food great service and it was right by the lake..I had the bourbon burger.. ufff it was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. I’m definitely going back again before I go back to texas..“
