Found this place because Zella's, my go-to restaurant when in Hutchinson, was closed on a Sunday. The Hutch is a wonderful diner in the tradition of small town cafes: friendly service, expansive menu of typical American dishes, including great breakfasts, and very inexpensive. I had the Hutch Cafe Special: 2 eggs, hash browns, toast and 2 sausage parties. All for about $8. A heck of a deal. I'd come back in a heartbeat.
The Hutch Cafe located on Main Street is a small hometown cafe owned by a local family. The food is usually very good and the serving-size is generous. The interior could use some updating as the furnishings are showing wear. The service is always prompt and efficient.
I stopped in for lunch when I was in town for training. Staff was very friendly and the service was great. I had my food in about 10 minutes and it was excellent! I recommend stopping here!
