“I stopped to purchase a bag of beans. The staff person was delightful, friendly, efficient and took care to make sure that I really wanted the decaf that I had selected. The labeling is somewhat subtle and they made sure that i knew that it was decaf. I really appreciate that attention to detail.“

“The two people working at the time were great -- very pleasant and professional. I was greeted right away with a smile and asked if I had an account, which I did.
The shop was very quiet -- I must've come at time in the afternoon there is a lull, because it's usually pretty busy, but not too busy. I definitely felt I was getting their full attention!

“Haven't been back in almost 3 years because my last visit the bar manager was less than inviting. They've done some changeover recently and the new bar manager was absolutely LOVELY!! so lovely, inviting and willing to step outside the menu to create something delicious! Hope this new round of staff sticks! Will definitely be visiting again soon!!“

“I had the smoked pork taco, loaded brussel sprouts, and the key lime pie. All of it was delicious, and the key lime pie was definitely top notch. Excellent service, crisp clean beer lines, and nice atmosphere too. I'm instantly a fan of the Wildwood tavern, this is a great spot to visit.“

She went above and beyond, sharing her favorites and suggesting delightful pairings that enhanced our meal. Angela’s warm personality and genuine care made us feel like we were the most important guests in the restaurant.

“We’re sitting at Admiral D’s now, 4th tons this summer, they remember my order now! Menu is new and improved, service, as always, is on point, and despite the tiny kitchen, we’ve gotten our food quickly all 4 visits this summer. We’re listening to live music, and the breeze of the lake is fantastic, making it really pleasant despite high temps today. I can’t recommend this place enough. I haven’t read other reviews, but know in previous years there could be quite a wait for food. But we’ve always been loyal because I’d go for friendly service over fast any day and Admiral D’s has always had that.“
