This is a great coffee shop, love to try monthly specials!!!
My first visit to The Anchor Coffee House. The cold pressed coffee is smooth and perfectly strong, no additions needed. The baristas are friendly and working hard. One woman was putting up US flag banners and buntings on a ladder during slower times. The decor is comfortable and inviting. Customers were quietly visiting or reading. A young couple had their Bibles, while drinking coffee. It was a perfect place to meet my cousin for a catch-up visit. I can't wait to go back!

The Anchor Coffee House is a cozy spot with a great vibe. Their lattes are a must-try, not too sweet and just right. The baristas are friendly, and the coffee and scones are fresh. The shop is built in a farm-style home and offers a warm, intimate atmosphere. Inside, there are large tables perfect for laptops or reading, and plenty of hot and cold drinks to choose from, including a pretty decent selection of rotating baked goods in the case. The service is helpful and friendly, and the place is a delightful spot to enjoy a Saturday morning treat. It is also home to PLNT BSD, which serves pop-up vegan dishes and smoothie bowls at the back of the shop, with a little exterior window to order at. Customers have found the shop to be a fun, cute place that makes them feel like they are in another world, especially in the shopping strip. It can get busy on weekends, so visiting on an off day is recommended. The shop also has a booth at the MN State Fair, providing a nice alternative if waiting there isn't appealing. The staff have been helpful with questions about bringing small dogs, and even provide pup cups for pups when ordering seasonal drinks like the candy cane latte. Overall, it’s a perfect place to relax with a book or catch up with friends over doughnuts, scones, or a flavorful hot mocha like the chocolate and pistachio mocha, which has a warm, nutty taste. The atmosphere and friendly service make it a lovely spot to enjoy a treat or a quick coffee break.
