“This is just a walk-out location but that's the kind of pizzeria I prefer. We went with the Margherita pizza and an order of cheese bread. Both were tasty, the cheese was good, the pizza was thin but not too thin. But the star of the show was the sauce, very tangy, salty, flavorful, and chunky. Next time I'm going to ask for a cup of sauce on the side! Carbone's is a quality local pizzeria option that won't break the bank.”

“I had the smoked pork taco, loaded brussel sprouts, and the key lime pie. All of it was delicious, and the key lime pie was definitely top notch. Excellent service, crisp clean beer lines, and nice atmosphere too. I'm instantly a fan of the Wildwood tavern, this is a great spot to visit.”

“I’ve had a couple orders, not seem like the normal way I usually receive them. Had a blizzard I basically had to mix up myself so it would look like chocolate. Think they forgot an ingredient. I worked at a DQ when I was younger so I get it. ( I did the same thing one time) Just need more training. Otherwise service is usually decently fast even when busy!”

“We were here for dinner over the weekend and everything about this place was phenomenal we tried multiple things off of the to share or not portion of the menu and loved every bit of it. The whole grilled fish our waitress mentioned rotates depending on what is available fresh and it was cooked to Perfection and probably our favorite thing all weekend. The cocktail menu is unique and everything that we had the opportunity to try was delicious I highly recommend doing the cocktail flight to anybody who doesn't have a favorite spirit. Staff was incredibly friendly and knew what they were talking about if you had questions. To those looking at going here reservations are a must!!!! Great atmosphere as well”

“We recently got married (October 2024) and Lake Elmo Inn catererd our wedding. It was absolutely AMAZING! We had the prime rib carving station and the walleye as well as the duck soup and salad. Our guests are still talking about the food. We decided to upgrade to the "LEI Experience" which means each of your guests get a warm hand towel, an intermezzo sorbet, and a chocolate covered strawberry!!! We were over the moon with the service on the night of the wedding and all our communication with LEI throughout the process. Special shoutout to Kayla G. who was the most patient, professional, and kind event manager! She answered every single one of my (many) questions and she did so with a smile! On the night of the wedding, we were SO impressed with how fast the servers were able to get to each of our guest tables and keep the flow going. It was seamless, seriously. We cannot recommend Lake Elmo Inn Catering enough. They've total pro's and just know that you'll be in good hands. “We went here 6 years ago and enjoyed the food. Came back in February 2025, right before it was scheduled to close, and the food was pretty bad. Not sure if the quality digressed or our personal standards increased. Either way, sad it’s gone but the food wasn’t anything that will be missed.”

They have so many flavors to choose from. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. The outdoor play area for kids and comfortable outdoor seating were perfect for a relaxed family outing.
