This place is really special. Simple menu, homemade pies and that old school vibe. one of my favorites was the milkshakes made with a 50s mixer with real ice cream and milk served in a tin cup. one of the best things they had to offer was...when you went there you have absolutely zero cell phone service. which made people conversate with those around them. truly a special place. a step back in time.
It was the year 2011 and someone told the friends I was hanging with that we needed to go camping at the Rapidan Dam. That’s exactly what we did!
