“Ryan was the absolute best server that I have encountered in my life! I have an anaphylaxis food allergy. He was so on top of making sure that whatever I ordered wasn't going to be an issue. He checked with the head chef 3 different times about different entrees, so I could have the best experience. We are from out of town and will definitely be back due to the great service provided. Ryan, thank you so much for being so attentive in regards to my allergy. Tonight's experience made your restaurant, one I will always recommend.“

“Wonderful little room with fireplace to celebrate my son’s birthday! Food and drinks, and beer was great! We had a burger, chicken sandwich, pizza, and garlic bread from the appetizer menu. At the end, our waitress brought us a brownie and ice cream dessert for my son’s birthday! OMG!! Everything was delicious and it was a great experience! We will be back…., worth the 1/2 hour drive!“

Seating was quick and prompt through the reservation system on a very busy Sunday morning, the manager checked at our table to make sure our dining experience was good, the food was fresh and hot. “Our first time here. Our server was amazing and the food came out fast and was good. Our only complaint was how rude and condescending one of the hostess was. Sydney was extremely rude multiple times to me and my mom. I was more upset of how she talked to my mom. Her name was Sydney and we were not the only one she was rude to. It was a shame since the rest of our time was a 10/10.“

“Say hello to Sarah (with an "H")...our new favorite waitperson at Lago Tacos in Minneapolis. We were visiting our son who recently moved into Excelsior & Grand across the street from Lago Tacos and after a long flight it was just a short walk to what is now our favorite Mexican restaurant. We had a wonderful lunch and great conversation & laughter with Sarah...she made our visit that much nicer! The Chips and Queso as an appetizer were spot on and the Spicy Grilled Chicken Tacos were cooked to perfection and very filling. We also ordered the Chop Salad with Shrimp which was amazing with perfectly prepared shrimp and great flavor. We will be visiting our son in a couple of months and will definitely be stopping into Lago Tacos for a meal. 10 out of 10 stars...thank you Sarah. See you soon. L, John & Jean“

Special Thank You to Cheyenne, he was amazing his drinks were fabulous, ask him for some of his specials, he did an amazing alcohol free apple drink, that had all 8 of us at the table very happy. He also took time to take us on a tour of the entire facility. This is a beautiful place, it has so much character. We will be back again.“

Any business that helps their community is just amazing to see but any business that’s willing to go half in as soon as they heard it was for the homeless shelter just melts my heart and gains my recommendation any day. As a longtime fan of their classic lime aid, it was an easy “yes” to order it again—and as always, it hit the spot. This time I tried the combo salad with beef and peanut sauce, and I was blown away. The team accommodated my request effortlessly, and the dish was both flavorful and generous in portion. I even took half home, and I’ve got to say—it was just as delicious cold as it was warm. I’m definitely ordering it again. Actually, I might be hooked! My husband went for the egg roll salad, which he absolutely loved, and my son had the yellow curried beef, which got two enthusiastic thumbs up. We were lucky enough to be taken care of by Macey, who made sure everything was perfect. She checked in on us just the right amount and made us feel truly welcome. The whole atmosphere was cheerful and relaxed—lots of happy diners, a bright and inviting space, and a vibe that’s perfect for both a family outing and date night alike. “We are regular diners at Primo. We always enjoy ourselves. Good service great food. Last night we had out of town guests celebrating a birthday. The food was terrific. The service was horrible! I asked for Parmesan cheese almost from the moment I sat down, it never came with the bread it never came with appetizers. It never came with salad finally after a few bites of entrée she came by with about a half ounce piece for the table. My wife asked for water refills, maybe 45 times. It was about as un attentive of Service as we've had anywhere in a long long time. My wife asked for a glass of ice we were there for almost 2 hours. She never got the glass of ice if that's an indicator of how poured the service was.“

“I didn’t think I was hungry, until I saw the menu, then I ordered a lot! The beet salad, shown on the website, is as delicious as colorful. The ahi tuna salad was a highlight, with a medley of great sauces and prime tuna, plus the chopped up nuts. I also had the blackened fish taco, but asked for the corn tortillas (my preference). The tacos were a great combo of ingredients, although the rice and red beans weren’t noteworthy. But the tomato basil soup was! Since it was billed as a homemade dish, I tried it and it was a touch chunky (in a honest way) and certainly flavorful enough for me to get a cup to go. I look forward to going back next trip in town (I live in Philadelphia).“
