“Stopped and had lunch with a buddy and at the end we both asked why we do not meet there more often. Both had a simple lunch executed well. Ya know somedays you just need something simple and damn these brats were they tasty today. Fried onions and sauerkraut with a mustard that I wish I remembered its name but was so good. For a minute I almost ordered a second helping. Hit the spot for sure. This is a causal German Bier Haus, long communal tables, TV's everywhere and today the garage doors were open and let the breeze in.“

“Good Day Cafe was a a restaurant focusing on breakfast we found on our recent trip to Minneapolis. They had a menu full of awesome looking breakfast dishes. I tried the Crab Cake Eggs Benny which came with an English muffin, homemade crab cakes, 2 poached eggs, and of course hollandaise sauce. I came with some home fry style potatoes as well. This was one of the best breakfast dishes I've ever had the privilege of eating. The potatoes were excellent but that eggs Benny was a legend. Specifically the crab cake was soooo good and had sooooo much flavour. Words can't do justice to how good it is. You just need to try it. My wife enjoyed her German pancake almost as much as I enjoyed my Eggs Benny. The restaurant was so bright and vibrant with lots of sunflower decor around. The service was excellent as well. This was a super awesome place and if I lived in the area I'd be here all the time.“

“Lat14 was recommended to us by a local during our 24 hour layover and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience during a hectic day!
Our server was wonderful, the food was delicious and the cocktails and wine were fun!

“A friend and I visited this Perkins in Golden Valley since we’re now 56 and had never ordered off the 55+ menu.

I ordered the chicken fried steak off the 55+ menu, which includes two sides. Had the fruit cup and buttered corn. Chicken fried steak was great. All the fruit except the few grapes tasted good, and the corn was spot on.

We also grew up a mile from this location, so it was fun to visit.“

“Myself and four friends were in Minneapolis for a few days on a visit from Ireland and had breakfast here a few times. Food was delicious. Great choice on the menu. Service was brilliant. Staff friendly and efficient.“

My husband and I have been here three times and we will be back again, soon I hope! “The food was delicious and the owner is very kind and attentive. Wonderful all around and inexpensive! We got the coconut curry chicken and shrimp, curry lamb, curry goat, and garlic naan, all I would highly recommend. The bathrooms are spacious with a changing table and outside the bathroom in the basement in a box is a prayer rug, both of which are inclusive and caring touches for a small family restaurant. Will definitely be back!“

“It's Taco Tuesday and I was craving Mexican food, but I didn't just wanna go to the type of place you think of when "Mexican" is brought up... I'm fancy, so I wanted something a bit more upscale. I did a little bit of research and wouldn't you know it... Colita came up. So here's how it went! Atmosphere/Appearance: Set south of downtown and a bit west of The Mall of America on Penn Avenue is this gem. There is no private parking lot, but plenty of street parking to leave your fly ride. But once you walk up to the restaurant you can immediately understand the message they're trying to send. Everything looks so modern, straightforward with straight lines, grey colors and light woods. There is a small outdoor section where you can dine if you get lucky enough to land a spot there. Inside carries a very similar style with a little nod to the pueblos and architecture of the southwest. The decor is minimalistic and the "loudest" thing in the room is the live plant wall seated directly behind the bar, which was super cool. Service: I can't remember who took care of us, but we had no issues whatsoever. Food/Drink: I was able to try so many different dishes and drinks here and the list is below... 🍹: Xochitl In Love 🍸: La Clandestina 🐟: Tuna Tostada 🌮: Chicken Tinga Tostada 🦪: Seared Scallops 🫓: Tlayuda 🥃: Colita Old Fashioned 🥩: Lamb Barbacoa Tacos 🫔: Duck Tamal However, my favorite things were the Lamb Barbacoa Tacos, Duck Tamal and Seared Scallops, in that order. The food here is phenomenal, the drinks are excellently crafted and things are served tapas style so you don't get too full off of just one thing! Order a whole bunch of stuff and share with the table! Value: As I mentioned earlier, I wanted upscale and the priced dddooo reflect that. Lol. This is a nice place so be prepared to spend... Like you're downtown somewhere. In conclusion, I loved this place and I will come back over and over. Check this place out the next time you're in the area!“

“We held our company Christmas Party at their beautiful restaurant and had such a great time! The staff were so attentive and wonderful to interact with throughout the whole evening! We ordered an array of food and our employees couldn’t stop talking about how fantastic the prime rib and KFC (Korean fried cauliflower) were! The talk around the shop about this event and the delicious food went on for days! We all had such a great experience from start to finish. They made it so easy to plan, set up, host and tear down. We would highly recommend anyone looking to host a party to come here! Now if you are just looking for a bite to eat for a date night or family night out, they also have you covered. “When I moved to the area from the country, I immediately started looking for plant based restaurants to go to in Minneapolis. I had wanted to go to trio, but they were moving locations at the time. This past trip to Minneapolis, I realized they were open again and was finally able to go. I can’t even describe how amazing my experience was! The menu had so many options and was so unique. I love to tell animal eaters that I like to eat dirty vegan food and not just vegetables, and that is definitely what it was! My partner and I ate so much so fast that I couldn’t even process my experience before it was over. I have never had such amazing plant based food. Even better than the food was the people working there. I have been to multiple plant based restaurants but I have never been able to truly feel the passion that the workers have like at trio. We were helped by a guy named Boston who was super personable and kind. We talked to him about the difference between the terms vegan and plant-based, and I could tell that the business genuinely cares about the impact they have on the community and the world. I wish that I could post pictures of my food, but I was too excited to eat it and forgot to take them like I usually do. I look forward to going, and hopefully seeing Boston again, and I would make the hour and a half trip just to do so. I highly recommend, especially since I was informed that it is the first black owned plant-based restaurant in Minneapolis. Thank you so much Trio!!!!“
