I've given up on good yeasted baked stuff that's gluten free. Everyone loves this place.
I had two things: a cheddar biscuit, and a bag of frozen rolls (like for sandwiches). I noticed that the second thing in the rolls ingredients list, after their flour mix, is baking powder. I see that a lot in gluten free baking, especially in batters like biscuits and cakes. But in yeasted baked goods, it can make the bread have a chemical aftertaste. I asked for assurance that the rolls would hold up to something like a sloppy joe or hamburger or even just mayo, and not dissolve. The assistant assured me it wouldn't dissolve.
I tried the biscuit first because those tend to be easy to make good. We make a good gluten free biscuit and so do a couple of other places in town. But it had a bitter chemical aftertaste, like it had too much baking powder. I liked the texture and the taste of the cheese. I won't be getting them again, though.
I came in, wanting to try just one roll. Their website states they have them for $3 each. They didn't have any so I had to buy a whole bag of four of them.
I followed the reheating instructions, which is to take it out of the freezer and let it defrost on its own, for at least an hour, and then to bake it at 325ºF for 5-15 minutes, depending on the size of the item. I put a little mayo on them and added lean turkey. A simple sandwich.
It fell apart after the first bite. This roll would not stand up to a burger or sloppy joe. It wasn't even holding up to mayonnaise. After a few bites, the bread got very mushy and started to melt. I finished the sandwich by taking out the turkey and eating just that.
And it had the chemical, too much baking powder aftertaste.

My girlfriend who isn’t GF loves this just as much as her fav non-GF bakeries in the city. Just go here and try it and you will be coming back all the time lol
Some suggestions for management:
- if there could be more DF options that would be awesome.
- being open on Sunday’s would also be awesome and I feel like it would be the busiest day of the week with people getting baked goods for the week

Hands down, the place for gluten-free folks to get gluten-free bread and biscuits. It is THEE BEST. It's just as you imagined bread, and doesn't taste gluten-free. They also have a ton of vegan options. It will be the bread of your dreams, I promise! I keep a rustic loaf in my freezer at all times and treat myself to a boule if they have it. So good! I have also tried their cinnamon rolls and those are pretty good as well.

Sadly, after trying this bakery 2 separate times I can say this place isn't much better than frozen baked goods at the store. Their food is just TOO inconsistent. Their brownies are very dry and crumbly as are their muffins. The first loaf of bread we bought was GREAT!! The second loaf is so hard and stale only days after buying, despite it being the same circumstances as the first loaf. The only thing I can confidently recommend is the pasties. For $12 a loaf it should not be stale within a couple of days with proper storage😭

If you could bottle the smell alone of this place it would be awesome. We arrive just in time to get goodies that we’re coming fresh out of the oven and they were absolutely amazing. We got the pumpkin muffin and the strawberry muffin, but wanted to buy so much more.

Delish! Best gf ever!
I don't know what mixing wizardry may be happening here but I had the best pumpkin muffin of fall season here. And I got some hamburger buns that were wonderful from here. I think she should be a consultant to places lIke some co -ops who don't have very good gluten free products or at least expand sales through co-ops. I really want to see this bakery and it's products here the rest of my life.I hope she succeeds and thrives despite the cost of eggs these days.

Probably the best gluten free muffins I’ve had. Cheddar biscuits were fantastic too. Very reasonably priced.

Geshmak! Idk if this bakery is Jewish, but it definitely reminds me of my fav bakery in NY. Absolutely delicious. I never thought I’d find such an amazing gf bakery. The apple turnovers are probably my favorite! Buttery, flaky and so flavorful. We are beyond impressed and the staff were super nice. Thank you for dedicating yourselves into making a wonderful place for us gf peeps <3
