I ordered a macchiato and the espresso was the worst, most bitter espresso I have ever had. The croissant on the breakfast sandwich had a nice texture but it was overall so oily/messy and the taste was not worth the mess. I also got a chicken Ceaser wrap to go, not good at all. Quite disappointed given the price, mostly in the coffee quality though.
Stopped in for a pastry and cup of coffee while wandering through the north loop. So fresh and tasty - a big step above the typical coffee bar. Flaky croissant fresh from the oven with chocolate inside!
What a cute store/bakery! We stopped here after the farmers market to get croissants and were very happy with our decision! So far, it was the best croissant I've had in MN (ham and cheese). While they warmed it up, we walked around and I had to really hold back from buying something - everything was adorable!
This is a really well executed idea for a French pastry restaurant, coffee bar, retail space and practice kitchen for cooking classes and I really enjoyed the overall vibe. The selection of honeys, jams, oils and sauces is great, as well as the various accoutrements. The patries are on point as well - almond croissant and bread pudding were so good. The breakfast sandwich I had was just ok- I'd probably skip that. And the coffee wasn't anything special either - I'd probably skip that too. But overall, cool spot and a do not miss while out for a walk in the north loop.
Visited for the first time yesterday for some pastries and coffee. Not only was the food and coffee great, the service was also top-notch. The young man and young woman behind the counter were so friendly and efficient. We’re still talking about the chocolate and everything croissants and crepe cake. Everything also seemed adequately priced for the quality.
Excellent! This is my new coffee spot. The staff is amazingly friendly, the coffee is brewed perfect, and the pastries are delicious. You can shop for kitchen gadgets, jams, and sauces while you wait for your coffee. They have a few indoor tables for two and plenty of sidewalk seating. The coffee/kitchen store are openly connected to the bakery so you can watch the pastry chefs making fresh pastries. Worth the walk if you work nearby and worth the commute for the kitchen store and pastries.
This place has the best chocolate croissant! Everything is delicious - seasonal Danish, ham and cheese croissant, quiche, vanilla crepe cake! It was also nice to browse the store and plan for new kitchen gadgets. A+
Had the breakfast sandwich and a cold brew, wife had drip coffee and the seasonal danish. The sandwich was good but a bit messy. Having tried a bite of the danish I almost wish I grabbed 2 for the road they were that good.
What's not to like, a hip spot for breakfast & lunch. Freshness in every little bite.
Delicious Croissant! However this restaurant along with others chooses to add fees after the fact. A $5.25 Almond Croissant ended up costing $7.34. That's around %40 added....make your own decisions.

Some of the best pastries in town but you pay big time for them. The already high prices sneakily become higher when they put on a 15% service fee which you may not notice as a price increase so already high prices shoot above every bakery I've seen. Also parking can be bad.
The baked goods are too expensive, unnecessary so. I get everyone’s excited to have a great bakery back but their prices are ridiculous. $6 and up for a croissant is robbery. And before the excuse of top notch ingredients and a livable wage, let me ask this, I just spent several months in Italy, a croissant using organic ingredients and a bakeries that pay a living salary charge around €2 for a filled croissant, like chocolate or jam. That’s about $2.50. So explain why these are so high?
Great pastries! The macarons are hit or miss; I have had some great ones and some bad ones. The croissants are amazing! The kouign amann is worth a try along with the monkey bread and muffin. The pastries are priced accordingly with other patisserie locations in the metro; however, the hospitality charge makes a $5 croissant increase in price very quick, so be aware.
Cafe side of the shop is excellent with fresh and tasty bakery items and friendly service. In summer time, outdoor seating is quite pleasant along the 1st street not carrying the main traffic.
Cute little shop. Definitely miss the bellecour in Wayzata, but the treats are still just as tasty! The pastry chef is just as amazing as ever.
