Great food, with amazing staff. I messed up my own order and the server overheard me talking about it and gave us a free hotdog. Definitely worth going to if you're in the mood for authentic Chicago Dogs.

Simply the best! They even remember my father's my father's order each and every time I go there. They take care to separate my order from my father's order, and my father and I talk NASCAR with the cooker a pleasant conversation. My dad, bread, and born in Chicago. Told me, hey! This is the closest we are going to get the real thing! He says, " Unless you want to take a 9 hour drive.

Medium Thin Crust Hawaiian Pizza: Cheese wasn't melted all the way. Crust wasn't crispy.Chicago Dog: Husband wished he would have gotten the double dog because he enjoyed it much well.Spaghetti: they were out of spaghetti noodles so penne pasta it was. I got with Italian sausage. It was so watery. I did not eat more than a 1/4. Marinara sauce was so bland.Hot beef and cheddar hoagie with sweet peppers: it was good!They sell $20 wine by the bottle only.**Order at the counter and they bring the food to you.We played Soulja Boy on the touchtune.

I’m vegetarian but when I do break and have meat it’s almost always because of a hankering for Chicago’s amazing dogs! I usually get one each of their Chicago style, and chili-cheese. Amazing. Been coming here for over ten years now. Great food, great staff, great atmosphere. They’ve really improved the dining area since I first came, with sports TV everywhere .(NB: I am not a sports fan nor do I watch. But I value that this is important for this kind of place, and mention for the review.) Also appreciate they expanded their menu to include pizza and other options, like burgers. But I always get dogs! (Did I mention I’m vegetarian?)EDIT: it occurred to me to add. This is consistently, always, the CLEANEST fried food / pizza joint / hot dog place I’ve ever been! (lol and I’ve been to a bunch; memories of “Dirty” Nick’s Coney Island Dogs in Fall River, MA, when back in the day he would line up dogs on his forearm to pour meat sauce on the dogs. Memories?!!)

Kicked off my birthday weekend with a fresh hairdo and a bite to eat. I had been craving an italian beef from back home so i thought I’d give CTA a try. I got the cheesy beef with hot peppers and cheese fries. Those were the best fries I had in Minnesota. The beef was good not quite Chicago style though. The restaurant was cute and cozy and staff were friendly. I hope to try the Chicago Dog and fresh lemonade next time.

The Italian Beef and Italian Sausage sandwiches were incredible - especially the giardiniera, which I would buy on its own. You can tell the sausages are house-made. Good selection of local beers on draft. Cute space, would love to see it become more of a hangout spot.
Our family relocated to the area from Chicago recently, and Chicago Taste Authority was exactly what we had hoped it would be… a taste of home!! The food was delicious, atmosphere spot on, and service was great. 5 stars and we will be back soon!!
