Chicago's Taste Authority is a restaurant that offers delicious Chicago hot dogs and a variety of sandwiches, including one with prime rib meat and sausage. The hot dogs are described as leagues better than anywhere else in town, and the staff provides true hospitality. The gyro, although lamb-based, was the best ever tasted, packed full of meat and flavor without being greasy. The fries are outstanding, even for someone who typically dislikes potatoes. The restaurant is kid-friendly with an outside patio and is wheelchair accessible with a ramp to enter, although assistance may be needed with the door. Overall, a great spot to enjoy quality food and friendly service.
