Cute spot with some affordable coffee

My favorite coffee shop downtown adjacent! The atmosphere and vibe is immaculate. However, the Somali shah needs to go immediately! It’s not even authentic at all. If you need help making Somali tea the authentic way please let me know but that needs to go like ASAP!

Ever since Fawkes Alley opened in Loring Park, it has been such a treat. I try to stop in whenever I can (I live in the area, so it's pretty often haha), so I have tried a few of their specialty coffees! I was there earlier this week and picked up a plain drip coffee and a chocolate muffin, and honestly, it just hit the right spot. Coffee was an acidic light roast (which is not my fav, but was still perfectly made -- not burned, not under extracted), and the chocolate muffin was hands down one of the better coffee shop pastries I have ever had. Perfectly moist and rich and delicious. Staff was really nice and welcoming, prices are so reasonable for the Loring Park area, and the location is great!

I love the social mission and values of the shop as well -- it's so important for us to have these community spaces.

There's a portraiture gallery that has opened next door as well, so it was really pleasant to grab a coffee and then check out the gallery!

I love this place it is very hygge (Danish word for enjoy or that feeling you get when you are all warm and cozy inside your house drinking hot cocoa with a football game on) I especially like the friendly service and the discount you can get if you’re a Minneapolis College student and I also love how it is a small business and less than a minute away from my community college and how efficient it is. Dogs are also welcome there as well even non service animals.

Good coffee and quick helpful service! I enjoy walking down the alley across Loring to get here, it's a very peaceful place in the heart of such a large city. Pastries are also worth getting!

Tucked away in a nice alley and I love that it’s a community space. However, the espresso drink I got was bad. The milk was over steamed to the point of being burnt.

I don’t normally leave reviews, but I had to give this place 5 stars. These were some of the best lattes in the twin cities (or maybe ever). I had the white mocha special and my husband had a caramel latte. We stumbled upon the coffee shop after Gai Noi and will definitely be back!!!

This is truly one of the best coffee shops I’ve ever visited. The customer service is exceptional, and the baristas are consistently friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is amazing—warm, inviting, and incredibly cozy, making it the perfect spot to relax or get some work done. The drinks are outstanding and full of flavor, easily some of the best I’ve had. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great coffee experience.

I don’t know what’s going on, but you people have never made a good chai. It’s like no one here actually knows how to make one. Today I ordered a chai and somehow ended up with a latte instead. This isn’t the first time the chai has been completely wrong, but it will definitely be the last time I try. Very disappointing.
