We did their matsu dinner. It was exquisite as they told shared with us each piece of nigri we ate and what part of the fish it was from. They also have a Japanese Whiskey Bar. They have a pretty good selection, but went with their old fashion.
Our family of three—my husband, my son, and I—visited Kado no Mise on Easter Sunday and selected the most premium omakase experience. The setting was calm and refined, and each course was presented with care. My son especially enjoyed the evening, and we appreciated the attention to detail throughout the service.

This is the best omakase place I've been to, bar none. Nowhere tops Kado in the states and I've yet to meet someone who feels different. In Japan I have found some that come close, but somehow still feel like Kado just slightly stands above them - I spend too much time in my life seeking a place that can match Kado no Mise. Maybe someday I'll find something, but until then best believe I will continue to come here and enjoy the omakase with sake pairing.
