Delicious Lunch at Meseret Ethiopia Restaurant!
I stopped by for lunch with my friend, and we had the special Kitfo with a side of cabbage and cheese, served with Kocho — and it was amazing! The Kitfo was perfectly seasoned and incredibly fresh, and the Kocho was soft and authentically prepared. The service was very friendly, and the traditional atmosphere made the experience even more enjoyable

The server said that the injera is partly wheat and not all teff. That indicates a lower quality and customers should be told without asking. I am sensitive to wheat, not just gluten. Good veggie plate. The rest of the options were all beef. We were told that no seafood dishes were available. We didn't ask for plastic straws, but the server brought them. The take home boxes are plastic. The restaurant should change that, given the world’s plastic problem.

Really loved the food here. I got the Gored Gored and I loved it. It was really spicy, but it was still great. Like that they gave you goat cheese to cool you down as you ate it. Apparently I got told by a guy at the restaurant that I chose the spiciest thing on the menu, but anyways, it was still great and I loved it. The place is also really convenient to get to, both by bike and by transit, as this place is right along the 38th street bike lanes and the minnehaha avenue bike...
