About Ramen Kawae
Ramen Kawae Reviews
Best karaage in MSP, and better than any I've ever had in LA, too. Hands down our favorite!
Months later and I cannot stop thinking about this place! I had tonkotsu. Broth was the stand out for me. Everything else had there place though. It's worth the 2 1/2 hr drive. 10/10 do recommend.
Great flavor! We ordered three dishes and thoroughly enjoyed them
all!
Ramen Kawae is a restaurant that has received mixed reviews from its customers. The tonkotsu ramen is praised for its "insanely flavorful and rich" broth, while the noodles have been described as "overcooked and mushy." The karaage don, featuring juicy and delicious karaage, is a popular dish, though the rice has been criticized as "really bad, super wet and mushy."
Despite these inconsistencies, Ramen Kawae has impressed customers with its flavorful ramen, especially the Tonkotsu and Tan Tan Men, which are described as "excellent" and "with a spicier flavor." The restaurant also offers chicken karaage, which is enough for several people to sample.
Customers have noted that Ramen Kawae is a great place to visit, especially during the cold winter months, and the fried chicken with soy sauce is also highly recommended. The restaurant has two gluten-free options, chicken skewers and dumplings, and is wheelchair accessible.
Overall, Ramen Kawae has the potential to be an exceptional ramen destination, and with improved consistency in the quality of its dishes, it could become a must-visit spot for ramen enthusiasts.
