“What an amazing restaurant the food was absolutely delicious. I got the combination Guanaca and it was well balanced and delicious. The fried plantain really added an extra layer of texture and depth to an amazing meal. Our server was very professional and friendly and really enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant. Hopefully if we are in the area again this is a must stop. I will be recommending this restaurant to my friends and family.“

“This is what I call authentic Salvadorian food! I was craving pupusas and google led me here. I was a little lost trying to locate it. It is located inside of Mercado Central. There are lots of smaller food shops. Like a food court mixed with clothing shops, dessert shops, and of course the market. Service 10/10 - the nice gentleman who took our order assisted us with the biggest and brightest smile. There's a bit of a wait (about 10 minutes) but it's because the food is freshly made! Food 11/10 - my goodness the pupusas were delicious! They don't skimp out on the curtido. You can choose spicy or non spicy salsa. The spicy salsa was perfect and also clearly home made. Everything about this shop just touched my Salvadorian heart. Ambiance 6/10 - they have lots of smaller seating arrangements. Max of a family of 4 per table. It was nice and clean. It was also pretty crowded and quite loud. It is as casual as it can get. So happy to know this place exists for when I'm craving Salvadorian food! Would absolutely come again for the food!“

“We're always looking for the best pupusas in Minneapolis, and the ones at El Guanaco III win! We arrived last night (Saturday) at 9:35, and they treated us kindly as if we were their first customers, even though we arrived almost at closing time. The pupusas were delicious, with the beans and cheese well distributed inside. Also, they gave us a generous amount of curtido and sauce, which is not so common in pupuserias!!The horchata is delicious, delicious and authentic from El Salvador!Last suggestion: I always order bean pupusas with cheese AND loroco, because I love the combination of the three!Vegetarian options: The pupusas (except the revueltas, those that contain pork rinds) do not contain meat. You can also order a typical meatless breakfast!“

“My husband and I have been looking for a place with good pupusas, and this place was incredible! We will definitely be going back and trying everything we can. Loved everything about our experience!Parking: It's a strip mall so there's lots of parking, but you might have to park further away depending on how busy the area is.Kid-friendliness: If your child is used to Hispanic food then they'll love it. Otherwise, I'm not sure how thrilled they would be.“
