StormKing Brewpub + Barbecue is a great spot to meet up for drinks, eat some food, and watch sports. With a nice variety of drinks on the menu, the barbecue is highly recommended—some say it’s the best in the area, with a firewood-smoked taste. The atmosphere allows for pleasant conversations and fun with board games, and the interior features high ceilings, a fireplace, and a full bar. The royal burger, fried cheese curds, and happy hour sliders with pulled pork and crispy fried onions are highlights on the menu, along with perfectly salted shoestring fries. The pulled pork was excellent. This is a team of true professionals who went above and beyond and is highly recommended for planning an event. The brewery also connects to a cidery, offering a good selection of craft beers and ciders, and there is a nice outdoor area. Overall, a place worth revisiting when in the area.
