Today was my first time visiting this restaurant for their Taco Tuesday special. I decided to try the carnitas and al pastor tacos, and oh, how I regret not ordering more! Alongside the tacos, I also got some chips, which were quite delicious. Overall, the food was really tasty, and the deals on Tuesday are fantastic. Can't wait to go back!

I ordered a marinated pork burrito and 2 chicken tacos. I got a rice burrito with minimal meat and other ingredients. I would say it was 80/20 rice to other ingredients. Rice is the only thing that I could taste. Chicken tacos weren't awful but not the best. The meat was dry and bland. I will not be back. Also, 31 bucks for 3

If you want authentic Mexican food in the Twin Cities you must try Taqueria Mi Guanajuato. When you walk in it feels like you’ve crossed the border into Mexico. Not fancy at all but so good. I had the Pozole soup which was filled with tender beef and hominy in a delicious broth. My wife had the shrimp ceviche. Beautiful chopped cold shrimp, lettuce, onion and avocado on a crispy corn tortilla. Guacamole was loaded with pico and tasted great. Huge servings of food from friendly people.Vegetarian options: Not predominantly vegetarian but lots of options if you mix it up a little.

This was a little salt away from being really good. Overall the meats were pretty bland. However, the bright spot is that the rice and refried beans were AMAZING (they still needed salt though). Texture was great!

I stopped in at lunch time on a Tuesday. I looked over the menu and sat down. The folks behind the counter looked at me and then continued to make food and serve others. At no point did anyone motion to me, nod at me, or say a single word (in any language) to me. After sitting by myself at a table with no one paying a bit of attention to me for 10 minutes I got up and walked out.I'm not sure what the issue was, although I can guess. Either way I'm from Texas and California and love a good taco spot and speak enough Spanish, but I damn sure won't give this place a try again. I'll never understand this kind of treatment; if you don't want to serve a customer then don't work/open a restaurant.
I went and got quesadilla pastor and their pastors very greasy so I took it back and told them it look like chorizo. All they did was try to show me the difference but it looked the same I gave their food back and left

Fantastic place. We love the chips and guacamole, and they have a legit torta with all the fixins. I’ve had the tacos, quesadilla, and burrito from here and they all have been great. We usually get take out, they’re doing some great renovations inside and I’m excited to see it when it’s completed.

Delicious Mexican food made to order! Wide variety of items on the menu, reasonable prices, quick friendly service, and nice atmosphere. I had the sopes and a horchata to drink. Both were wonderful. Lots of space to dine in, even with a large group. Or easy to get take out quickly too. Wide variety of beverages and even some desserts too. Be sure to check this place out!

So happy I found this place. Just moved here from Southern Ca. a few months ago and have been craving authentic Mexican food. This is the real deal! We ordered the Posole rojo, enchiladas and tamales with pork. Everything was excellent. Staff was very friendly and place is very clean! Can't wait to go back!
