Wonderful experience....Amazing food, excellent service, the place, the music.... Don't believe me, just go and check yourself, and thank me later.

If you're heading to a Twins game, skip the stadium food and check out Trópico just steps away. As a Venezuelan, I can honestly say this place is incredible. The food is authentic, flavorful, and made with love. The Arepa Pro and Chicken Arepa are some of the best I’ve had, even compared to back home. Perfectly cooked, generously filled, and absolutely delicious.

The atmosphere is vibrant and full of life, with friendly service and colorful decor that makes you feel welcome the moment you walk in. This is not just a quick bite, it’s a full experience.

Support this amazing small business and treat yourself to real Latin flavor. Trópico is a gem near the stadium and it deserves all the love. You won’t regret it.

I’m born and raise Colombian and this place is the closet of authentic Colombia street food I have tasted in the twin cities! When I went in it felt like I was back in my local neighborhood store ! Loved it!

This was such a cute and authentic Colombian restaurant! The drinks and food were DELICIOUS! We really loved the decadent Raspberry Oblea, which tasted like a much better version of cheesecake! The pork arepa was so also savory and good. We ate them before we could take pictures haha.

Our cocktails and micheladas were carefully crafted and so yummy! The staff was also so kind and personable. They explained what aguardiente was and educated us on Colombian culture 😀🇨🇴 we will definitely be back!

Tropico in Minneapolis is a vibrant slice of Colombia that brings authentic flavors to life! This gem of a restaurant captures the heart of Colombian cuisine with its bold, fresh, and colorful dishes. If you haven’t tried their signature hotdogs yet, you’re in for a treat—packed with unique toppings and bursting with flavor, they’re a must-have. The real showstopper, though, is their cholados. These refreshing Colombian shaved ice desserts, layered with natural fruits like passion fruit and soursop, plus creamy ice cream and condensed milk, are absolutely mind-blowing. Each bite is a perfect balance of tangy, sweet, and creamy goodness that transports you straight to the streets of Cali. The family-friendly vibe, warm service, and tropical atmosphere make Tropico a fantastic spot for anyone craving an authentic taste of Colombia. Highly recommend diving into their cholados and hotdogs for an unforgettable experience

I was impressed! That says alot! This place is kinda small, but you can tell they really strive to accommodate! More room in the hallway. The food is very good! The Empanadas, the buñuelos, Pan de Bono, all great and delicious appetizers. The Hotdogs , GREAT! Arepas, GREAT! Grilled Steak Panini, GREAT! We found parking down the street, but it is worth the very short walk, nice spot, good food, very warm and inviting place! Highly reccomend you come in and try this FANTASTIC Colombian fare!!!
