Best place in Minnesota for ice cream
Very good blizzards
This is the best DQ in the country!! Only DQ that isn't held down by corporate, so they have what other DQs don't anymore. The line is often very long, but people still wait... because it's worth it!
Heritage drinks, old-fashioned ice cream sodas, a shake/malt with a sundae on top, blueberries... if you miss something you've had at a DQ before, see if the Moorhead DQ can do it!

Dairy Queen (Treat) is a charming roadside spot with delicious original sandwiches and amazing ice cream. The staff is friendly and engaging, making the experience enjoyable. This DQ is historic, one of the oldest ones in the States, opened in 1949. The giant Dilly Bar is a must-see attraction, and the menu offers a variety of yummy selections, including old school menu items like hot dogs and bbqs, and things you can't find anywhere else, like a monkey tail. Quick service and a nostalgic atmosphere make it a perfect stop for ice cream treats and more. This location has patio seating outside and offers curbside pickup. The store is open seasonally from March 1st through October 31st, closed on Easter Sunday and July 4th, and open from 10 am till 10 pm during this period.
