“I’ve been coming here for years and have consistently enjoyed the food. I’ve visited for lunch and dinner, as well as special occasions like Easter, Mother’s Day, Christmas parties, and group events. I’m here about once a week for a group meeting, and it recently dawned on me that I’d never left a review—despite this being one of my top three restaurant choices in New Ulm.

I’ve tried many items on the menu and enjoyed most of them, but the Mayan is one of my favorites. Service has been great the majority of the time. On occasion, it’s been a bit slower or less attentive, but I understand that can vary by server. Overall, I really like the atmosphere, especially in the fall.“

“We were hungry and stopped and ordered their saurkraut pizza and it's was wonderful for being a bar pizza. They offer a full range of items on their menu. The person who was the Bartender/server was attentive and we never felt ignored she made our stay very nice. The place is your standard home town tavern and clean and friendly. We plan on stopping again on our way through New Ulm. Also they had a few of my favorite Schells brews on tap.“

“Lovely old place with fantastic Schnitzel! I highly recommend the Rahmschnitzel with spaetzle! That atmosphere is excellent like being in an old german beer hall with paintings and brief histories of old German castles all over the main dining hall.“

“The food was amazing! The staff was attentive and friendly. Cat gave me a wonderful tour of the building along with the history of it. I will absolutely be making a trip back. it was definitely the highlight of my day.“

“We were there Sun Aug 23 at 10;20AM. There were 4 of us. Potato pancakes were not hot. And came with eggs and sausage. It was supposed to be sr potato pancakes with crisp bacon. Hash browns were not hot and one of his sausage was totally burnt on one side and so was our friends!
Bacon ordered crisp was very limp as well as regular ordered bacon. Both limp and not hot. Broccoli was cold and didn't get butter for it as requested. We have never ever been this disappointed in Perkins
I think the waitress may have been having to run all over and busy. But she did her best for having to be all over rather than in one area! I'm sorry to have to point all this out. I dont think I've ever done this before. Thank you for listening!! Connie,New Ulm MN 56073

Lots of tasks on her hands trying to juggle everything but is looking forward to pushing through all the legalities, getting inventory under control, having enough staff, maintaining events along with catering, and much more to then be able to relax and enjoy some time with meeting all her patrons.
