“Every year the girls get a pup cup for their birthday. Usually we go to that other ice cream place, but I like Culver's custard and figured I'd stop in quick and inquire for her birthday on Monday. The very sweet employee thought I was asking for one instead of just inquiring if they do that at this location and came back with one for the girls. They were spoiled a little early and we will definitely be back on their birthday and other days for service like this. Thank you so much for making mine and the girls day🍨💜“

The waitress did notify us right away that they were still new to the systems and a new owner and that things may be a little chaotic but, It was our first time stopping in and we hope to make it up that way again, soon! Picture may look weird but I'm a NO BUN gal. I also want to mention the fries were PERFECT! We were pleasantly surprised when they arrived already seasoned and they were hot and crispy but not overcooked I even told my granddaughter I think those were the best order of french fries I've ever had anywhere because they were hot and perfect and seasoned! The waitress also suggested the seasoned sour cream over the plain sour cream, and I would definitely recommend to do that, it was all delicious! The building is cool and it's got a great looking outdoor patio that we wanted to sit at but it kept raining off and on so we decided to sit inside. But next time I would love to sit outside! I know there was one person working behind the bar and I'm pretty sure our server was the only one working the whole floor other than possibly the new owner, or maybe it was the manager, that was helping to bus tables a little bit, and take out food and she/server did an amazing job.“

They have a great combination of indoor and out door seating. It’s also located on the Main Street in excelsior with lots of local shops, the lake, and the commons park all within walking distance. The regional bike trail runs right by there as well making it a great destination or place for a quick stop.“

Maynard’s has always had my favorite summer Margarita on the wharf, but this year it has been inconsistent and they added orange juice is a skinny spicy Margarita! First of all no self-respecting margarita has orange juice, and second of all, you can’t make a skinny margarita with pure sugar in orange juice. Please put it back and make it consistent so we can rely on having a great drink every time.“

“I moved in earlier than I planned because there wa no reason not too. I am very happy at The Waters and so glad I made the move. The "cottages" are wonderful even though there is downsizing to get done. The staff is very helpful and cheerful. The food is great - besides the 'every day menu," there are specials for lunch and dinner. The menu is quite varied with chicken, beef/veal, pork, turkey and vegetarian.“

“Decided to stop by for a drive thru visit and this location did not disappoint!

I received very accurate and helpful service, it was quick and everything tasted awesome. I just had to take a pic of my turtle custard bc they did such a good job on it!

Plus the grilled onions were perfect on my burger.

Only complaint would be that my fries completely spilled in the bag, like they were out in there upside down… still tasted good tho haha“

“We ate dinner last night around 6:30pm and had the best experience! We were seated promptly and greeted by our waitress who was friendly and gave the best service. The food was delicious. I got the Jordan Hometown burger- garlic aoli was top notch, mouth watering bun, cheesy with bacon and rosemary, I will come back for this burger!!!! The fries were seasoned perfectly. My significant other got the BBQ platter and thought it was tasty as well. He substituted the potato salad for mashed potatoes. I got a frozen strawberry daquri and a mudslide... both were out of this world. This was his first time and my second time coming here, definitely won't be our last. The restaurant was clean, it wasn't noisy and the booths were comfortable. I wish I could tell you our servers name because she was so awesome!“

“This is a great new addition to Excelsior. Another venue created by Jester group. They also have Parlour downstairs and a fusion Asian place nearby.
We started with the popovers. They were a great option. Light, eggy, and cooked to perfection. The honey butter was the perfect pairing. The Caesar salad was very well made, balanced, and very fresh ingredients. The chicken wild rice soup was a nice starter. Perfectly seasoned, creamy, a good balance of wild rice, veggies, mushrooms,& chicken.
The Agnolletti was a small plate but very rich and truffle-y. The pasta was properly cooked and the creamy cheese filling was silky smooth. The Au Jus beef was a highlight. The shaves beef was delicious and tender. The au jus had depth of flavor and really soaked in to perfectly textured bun. Maybe could have used just a tad more salt, but regardless the flavors popped.
The margarita and the gimlet were excellent. The cherry bark collins was refreshing.
Overall a delicious meal. Absolutely would go back!“

“We’re from out of town and were visiting family. We came to get a late breakfast or early lunch and this nailed it on the head. The space is light and airy. There is plenty of room around the tables. We didn’t have one person running into us going to or from their tables. Our service was Jeannie. She was superb! She gave us enough time to choose what we wanted to eat, brought the food out quickly, asked pertinent follow up questions and was happy to bring us a few more things we decided we wanted last minute. I ordered my eggs over medium and the chef nailed it! The yolks were runny and the whites cooked through. They were perfect! We were able to sit and enjoy our beverages, while feeling well-attended to without feeling rushed. Thank you for a great experience!“
