“We’re from out of town and were visiting family. We came to get a late breakfast or early lunch and this nailed it on the head. The space is light and airy. There is plenty of room around the tables. We didn’t have one person running into us going to or from their tables. Our service was Jeannie. She was superb! She gave us enough time to choose what we wanted to eat, brought the food out quickly, asked pertinent follow up questions and was happy to bring us a few more things we decided we wanted last minute. I ordered my eggs over medium and the chef nailed it! The yolks were runny and the whites cooked through. They were perfect! We were able to sit and enjoy our beverages, while feeling well-attended to without feeling rushed. Thank you for a great experience!“

Our group of 9 had no problem finding g a table for us. Service was excellent. Food is mostly fried bar food, but there is a lot of it and it is delicious!

Note: restrooms are outside the restaurant- they share with other businesses in the building.“

“North Star Tavern absolutely crushed it for our group! We had our reservation double at the very last minute and they not only accommodated us, but were able to get us in earlier too. The host who helped coordinate everything was incredibly kind, patient, and accommodating. I really wish I had gotten his name because he made the whole experience so easy. And Riley, our server, despite being a Packer fan 😉, was fantastic. She handled our large group like a pro and gave us excellent service the entire time with a smile on her face. Also…that Brussel sprout salad is an absolute banger. 10/10 all around!“

“This is the best Applebee's we've visited. Staff are excellent, food is good and always hot when we get it, and the manager (Sue) and her assistant (Actavia) are always visible and very friendly. It's obvious they get quality staff (JD, Skye, Julia, Lizzie, etc for instance). We will be back!“

“Wow! It’s was a nice surprise to find Fryer Tuck’s has PRONTO PUPS which are hard to find, except at the MN State Fair. They are not corn dogs. Batter is made from flour. My fav food at the annual State Fair. This reason alone will entice us to use our season passes more often. The fries have always been awesome. Not your ordinary fries, but fresh cut fries.“
