“Edelweiss is a hidden gem. It's one of my favorite breakfast spots south of the Twin Cities, and has some of the best doughnuts in the state of Minnesota. Their Boston cream doughnuts are the best I've ever had anywhere -- so fresh, and with all natural ingredients, nothing artificial. Their coffee is excellent, and their breakfast sandwiches are superb. These come with a little side of their granola, which is also very good and a cool idea for a breakfast side. They do a brisk business in fancy desserts, which are in the left side of their case. Sooooo very worth the calories! Need a pie to bring to a Thanksgiving get-together? Their bourbon pecan pie is wonderful. My only bone to pick is that their apple desserts and doughnuts don't quite excel to the same degree as everything else. They slice their apples thickly, so the fruit isn't always cooked through. The service is very good. Ambiance is bright and sunny due to their windows, and there's a charming fireplace in the back. Stop by sometime! You'll be glad you did.“

Also, who can beat the views? Right on the water overlooking Lake Prior!Bonus: they have changing tables in the women's AND men's bathroom! Love that more places are having this.Parking: Not great parking. There is a small parking lot at the restaurant or else an overflow lot across the street. If it's really busy though you might need to do street parking far away.Wheelchair accessibility: The building is elevated and they have a wheelchair friendly ramp to get into the restaurant.“

“My husband and I went here for dinner & it did not disappoint! We were there for happy hour and got the $5 chips & salsa. He got the smokehouse burger and I got the Nola Shrimp. Our waitress was kind and attentive. I had a Virgin strawberry mojito & it was very good! The only critique I have is that our food did not come out at the same time. Otherwise, very happy! We will go back if we return to Mystic Lake!“

“My husband and I eat at the Minnehaha Cafe almost every other week and the food is always amazing! We request our server to be Kendra if we can, she is the sweetest girl ever she always makes time to chat with us if she isn’t busy and she always gives us the best service. “You might drive by it on 13 south side as you head east as it has a small sign that looks like affixed to gas station BUT that old truck stop has become a small legend in our books! A cafe that has 12 tables, a four to five seat counter, booths that have a high back reminiscent of old Dutch eateries. The Windmill hangs proudly on the small lobby wall.Staff always there to greet you and expect a wait peak times. They will text you if you want to wait in your car. Tiny lobby.They are only open till 2pm and specialize in breakfast with a small lunch menu. One page menu, large hot cups of coffee in mugs you can purchase for $9.Delicious 8x8 hot cinnamon rolls!The Windmill special complete with juice, eggs, glorious crispy hash browns,extra meat, toast and pancakes. I had Eggs Benedict toasted buttered muffin to perfection, tasty sauce and hash browns on the side. They have tomato juice my fav!Always had excellent service, clean place and clean restrooms. They have it all in a very casual atmosphere with cute kitchen curtains over the front windows.4-5 service people, excellent cooks and food always steaming! “I've been with every iteration of the Smith House and this one is my favorite. The customer service is consistent and only matched by the drinks. The food could be elevate a tad more based on price but I dint discourage folks from the menu. The one and only issue that every customer has is parking. The lot is tooooooo small for the number of people they are able to serve. Subsequently customers park along the drive I to the lot causing tones of chaos and potential accidents. I'm frankly surprised the EP City Commissioner hasn't stepped in. So, I suggest car pooling if possible.Parking: Parking is limited! Carpool if possible.“

“I usually don’t go out of my way to eat at sandwich shops, but this was quite good. The star of the sandwich was the focaccia, which was both very soft and had a strong, herbal and olive oil taste. The quality of the rest of the was very good, and everything came together very well.The soup is also very interesting. It had a very creamy flavor, though I found it a little bit undersalted. Then again, this is no issue because I just added a little bit of salt myself.The staff were also very friendly, and made for a good dining experience.For both the full sandwich and the soup, the cost came to around $18 (incl. tax). Luckily though, you can get a half sandwich for exactly half the price of a full sandwich, which is a practice I wish more shops did. For most people, a full sandwich or a half sandwich and a cup of soup will be a filling lunch.Overall, I was very satisfied with the experience. I’ll be looking forward to trying this place out again in the future.“

“I wanted to make more of an effort in 2024 to leave reviews for great experiences. We were Lakeville for a late fam Christmas and always love trying somewhere new. Madi K. was our server. Our food was fantastic along with the drinks. I did the Firery Bloody, she recommended a perfect Sauv Blanc and my hubby is an Old Fashioned snob and highly approved! We didn't need to bring anything home and the kids entrees/sides were at a wonderful price point (even healthy choices). We will be back for sure! Vibe was awesome and a great atmosphere. Bang for your buck! Cozy and upscale bar food! Something for the whole fam!“

“I have heard of wampachs from a coworker. When I arrived the place was packed. I waited about half an hour to be seated. I ordered my usual. Two eggs over easy hashbrowns wheat toast and bacon. I also ordered coffee which was really good. I had to wait for along time before I got my order. The food was very good.“

“I went here with my mom last night after work for the first time. The service was great! Greeted by a sweet young lady who made the most amazing Thai jelly tea! There was tons to choose from on the menu. Everything was super fresh! Not only do you get a huge amount of food per serving, but they don't skimp on the meat! I do wish the egg rolls were bigger, but that's my only complaint. This is one hidden jem that you don't want to overlook. I'm definitely going back with my partner!“

“I've ordered take out a few times now. Their eggrolls are superb. You don't find that many restaurants that offer a generous size and very crispy egg roll. Love them! I also had their hot and spicy chicken. I've frequented other Vietnamese restaurants that did that dish very well. Namely, Kinhdo Uptown and Vina, both which are now closed, so I'm on the hunt for a Vietnamese restaurant that does a good job with that dish. Unfortunately, when I ordered the Hot and Spicy Chicken the chicken was shaved and not pieces or chunks of chicken, while the flavor was spot-on. The shaved chicken really turned me off from an appearance and texture. Maybe that was unusual, for them, so will try it again and hope to not be disappointed a second time.“

Beef stroganoff $19.49 had little food and not the best meat and a bit dry and salty. The salad was very good w fresh mozzarella and fresh tomato and salad called Panzanella salad - very good $12.49. Orange chicken was $15.99. My total bill was $47.97 before tip.“

“The waitstaff was prompt and friendly, and the sushi was good. The soy sauce had a watered down taste and the wasabi was not that strong, but the rolls I ordered tasted good on their own. The salmon sashimi were very large portions. The one complaint I had was there was a tv right in front on my table and it was tuned to Fox “news”. I’m not sure why a sushi restaurant needs to have a tv on, and why this tv needs to be tuned to fox.“

“We had a group of six and a child eat at LARS for dinner and breakfast, and both times we had Brook as our server. Brook went above and beyond for our group. Always checking to make sure that we had everything that we needed, and we were always well taken care of. For dinner, we had a birthday that we were celebrating, and Brook surprised her with cake and ice cream. For breakfast, he knew we were about to drive home, and he made sure the kids had to go snacks and juices for the ride. Food was great, but service was exceptional. Will definitely back!“

“Happened upon this gem when in the area and saw the old location and thought.. hey, Chinese sounds really good! Then realized that that location was no longer open so found the other location. Honestly, in terms of good, decent, clean, authentic, solid Chinese food, this is a gem. I got the moo goo gi pan (always a favorite) and to be honest, I loved this one. The garlic sauce was nice and light with the fresh veggies and perfectly tender chicken. Always served with white rice, it was amazing. I will definitely come back here for some solid Chinese food! Perfectly mid-rare salmon (as requested) atop linguine tossed with lemon oil, asparagus, roasted tomatoes and finished with a white wine butter sauce and fried capers. I was in heaven. The linguine was just right and the salmon meaty and moist. I can't stand overcooked salmon and Crave does not disappoint.
