“Ate here with my son for the first time and had the Cajun rubbed wings. These are heavily breaded btw (super yummy if u like that, I love grilled and thought it was that because I was hangry lol) my son got the juicy Lucy or something but omg it looked ah-mazing and I rarely eat ?!!??? loved the staff, loved my server, saucy blond minx who is also a bar-tendress, and was a hoot n’ a half☺️✨ I will be back! Normally I just walk by as I walk my dog with my cigar in hand and smile at the joyous vibe that creeps out onto the street outside. That’s a great restaurant when you have that going on.☘️??? Walkability: If you have to park up near davannis or the mortuary it’s a short walk.Food & drinks: The servers and bartenders were shaking and making and giggling with regulars. I loved it. just ask them what’s good or look (or sniff lol) and they will tell you. It’s easy to see that nothing looked short of rockstar!“
“Food and our Server, Sarah were great!I got Lobster Tortelloni, Grilled Shrimp, and a Port Old Fashioned and it was all delicious. It's a nice restaurant, but I probably wouldn't go back during happy hour on a Thursday. At 5pm there was a 30min wait, because to get happy hour specials, you have to sit at a high-top in the bar area. The bar was loud, a lot of commotion, and tables were very tight in that area. In retrospect I would've spent a few bucks extra and sat in the dining area so I could hear my friend talking better. It would be way better if they offered happy hour pricing in the whole restaurant because there were lots of open tables in the dining room area.Overall it was a pleasant experience though.Dietary restrictions: My friend enjoyed her Salmon and Root Veggies, which was one of the options the server pointed out because she's gluten and dairy-free. They also grilled the shrimp appetizer instead of breaded.“
“In the past, I’ve had great experiences here. I’ve brought several friends for their first visits. Food and drinks are great, always; tonight was no exception. Tonight, however, we had such negative experiences with staff. Our table wasn’t ready as reserved. It happens, usually no big deal, but they told us it would be just a minute and they’d let us know. it was 15 before I went back to the host table to ask about it and no one seemed to know what I was talking about. At the time three people were behind the host desk and I had walked by three servers chatting on my way in). Because of this, we lost one of the people who was going to join us. Another member of our party had to get to work (the reason we had reserved a time) and by the time our table was ready, he didn’t have time to order an entree. To be fair, we did have two people who were supposed to join us not show up and I understand that’s frustrating, but we were the ones who DID show up and had (or tried to have) an app, entres and multiple drinks. Besides the app coming late (with the entree, even though I asked a second time about it before ordering the entree), one of the entrees we ordered was wrong, but we had given up on anyone caring by that time. It felt like we were an inconvenience to the hosts and our server. I think he actually may have rolled his eyes more than once. I felt like I was somewhere that needed table turnover or at a dive bar where polite service isn’t really an expectation, but there were open tables near us and we didn’t complain about our late table or app. And we communicated about our absent party members as best we could once we knew. Usually, we tip really well because we’ve worked food service and understand it’s hard work and stuff happens. We understand EVERYONE is short-staffed right now, but we are still paying for a babysitter and nights out are precious, even when expected friends have things come up or don’t have time to wait for a table. If I want someone to roll their eyes at me, I’ll stay home with my teen and do it for free, thanks. Sincerely, it doesn’t take much to satisfy us (a couple weeks ago we tried Colita for the first time and our table was over an hour late, but the staff were polite and did their best to make our experience pleasant and I didn’t feel like I was a burden despite the extremely busy restaurant) but tonight after waiting, then a couple attempts to flag down the server so we could get home to relieve the babysitter, my husband finally had to go look for the server for a box (for the wrong entree that we didn’t finish) and the check. I know staffing is short right now and customers can be super-rude, but we aren’t rude and this was too much. No matter how good the blueberry smash and location on the lake are, I don’t think I’ll be back, and definitely not with friends. And I don’t think the two people who joined us as first-time guests will be back either - they were already skeptical about leaving the cities but I said it was worth it. Not tonight, it wasn’t.“
“The interior is gorgeous and very instagramable. The food on the other hand was not quite as impressive. Our servers were amazing and definitely earn their tips! Would I return? Probably not... the food is expensive for no reason and is basic in flavor. Perhaps this is what they were going for but you could have much better tasting good elsewhere for a fraction of the prices here. I got the lobster roll and truffle fries. I thought it tasted fine but my party did not like the truffle fries lol be weary if you have not tried truffles before. It's not for everyone.“
“What a hidden gem! Our server was so good with our three little kids. Great kids meals, amazing pizza, and they have a couple good beers on tap. We had to pull the littles away from the bakery cases, we'll save that for next time. Thank you!“
“I can't say enough good things about Munson's Potato Shack!!!The customer service is always top-notch, the bar selection is great, and the food is simply amazing. I love that the food is made with love, and it really shows.Every time I go to Munson's, I'm greeted with a warm smile and a friendly welcome. The staff is always happy to help me and they go above and beyond to make sure I have a great dining experience.I always find something to my taste, and I appreciate that the staff is always happy to make recommendations. But the best part of Munson's is the food. It's absolutely delicious! I've tried a number of different dishes on the menu, and I've never been disappointed. My favorites include the mac & cheese potato with brisket & the Buffalo chicken potato!Overall, Munson's Potato Shack is a great place to eat. The food is amazing, the service is excellent, and the bar selection is great. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious and enjoyable dining experience.“
“This is my favorite non-fancy restaurant at 50th & France. The food is reliably good and the service is always friendly. I especially appreciate that the menu is so versatile, no matter what you are in the mood for, you can always find something to order!“
“Was in Edina for a class and saw the place on the map when looking for a place to eat for lunch near by. Ended up eating there both days I was there for class. Good food, was quick, not much of a lunch hour rush even though at a golf course.“
“Had happy hour here last night and it was an awesome experience. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The cocktails were outstanding. Ashley, the bartender was super pleasant and attentive despite making the whole (busy) restaurant beverages. My husband and I will definitely be returning!“
“The thing that impressed me the most about this restaurant was the staff. The general manager Rob took the time to make us feel welcome and cared for. He does an outstanding job. The bartenders are amazing. Not only are the drinks inventive and delicious but the service was spot on. At the end of our meal the assistant manager stopped by to check on us one last time. We told her we would be sure to return soon.“
“Atmosphere is great, Food tastes good. The price for arcade chips bit expensive and the need to add few more varieties of prizes for lower points may be their strategy to purposefully keep more prize options for getting people return to their playing but would be nice if they add few more options to lower point accumulation“
“Absolutely devastated to hear of the owner, Mo's passing. We went for brunch on Sunday to pay our respects and show support to this local Edina staple. AMBIANCE: While it doesn't seem big from outside, when you step inside it looks like a cozy local brunch spot with plenty of seating. It's very warm in here, with classic decor and plenty of booths and tables. FOOD: We came on a weekend and I was excited to have a breakfast/brunch menu available until 2pm. Our group got a wide variety of things: A few of us enjoyed the American skillet (hashbrowns instead of fries as the base), one got a thick Cubano sandwich with soup, some got pizza that looked delish, one got a massive Cobb salad that was decked out with toppings, and more. All well-prepared classics at reasonable prices! My heart aches for the coworkers, team, and family members of Mo - he was a light and source of joy at the restaurant and all those he came in contact with, and will be dearly missed by many.“
“Best place to get a salad in the Twin Cities! Really is the biggest salad bar I have ever experienced, with a huge choice in toppings. They have great soups and breads too. While there are some good options on the hot bar it is limited and the flavors can be a bit mild which might be ideal for the older clients that frequent the restaurant. It's a casual place and great for large groups. I have always had great service when visiting.“
“Great food! You get really big portions for the prices. The service is top-notch especially dealing with us girls who had lots ov questions & asked for some modifications (half of this on a pizza. no mushrooms on this, etc...) I highly recommend their french onion soup & I can't rave enough about that sour cream dip (or whatever it is) that comes with the appetizer fries......DELICIOUS! Whenever I get together with friends or family to go out to dinner I always suggest Tavern on France!I think this is going to be regular 'hangout' now!!“
“Fantastic option for healthy food in the Twin Cities. One unique aspect is that the menus are different here than at the airport locations but you should try both, and you should definitely do the P.O. at the airport if you have even a slight interest in eating healthy while traveling. Very, very few if any other fully organic restaurants in airports across the country. But this location in the Southdale Mall is excellent, although it may move to a different area of the mall after some renovations soon (2024). Try the fried rice, tostadas, tea, really anything on the menu is great. This location is counter service, then seat yourself“
“This is my favorite restaurant! The food is always amazing, fresh, and quickly delivered. The only problem is trying to choose what to order. We had lunch today at Crave in the Galleria and it did not disappoint. My favorite 2 things on the menu, besides the sushi, are the lettuce wraps and the chopped chicken salad. The lettuce wraps include butter lettuce, wonderfully spiced chicken, chopped veggie topping, and crunchy noodles. Once served, you get to assemble your wrap with as much as you want of each thing, and there's a small pitcher of a soy chili sauce to pour over it all. So delicious! The chopped chicken salad has everything in it!! Craisins, sliced almonds, pieces of mild cheese, crunchy nuts, pulled chicken pieces, bacon, and a delicious Asian dressing. We shared both dishes and, when we couldn't eat another bite, topped it off with their Towering Chocolate Cake! There are so many options in this menu and everything I've ordered so far has been amazing. We were able to eat out in their sunny, indoor sunroom! It made for a wonderful day.“
“Our server (Leslie) was the best! Her smile and her attention to our table were appreciated. The food was good. I'm looking forward to my next visit. I hope Leslie is my server again. And, glad we had reservations. The mall was crowded more than I expected.“
“A group of seven of us went for a 6:15 dinner reservation on a Wednesday... five adults, and two minors. It was pretty full for a Wednesday, I thought. Most of the adults ordered a beer and a burger/sandwich, no appetizers, and no dessert. The food was very good overall. Service was about average, but this could be because it was busy. The tab came to $150, plus the tip, so figure $25-30 per person. It's a nice location, plenty of parking. I'd go back.Dietary restrictions: Many gluten-free items.Kid-friendliness: It's a bar, but our 10-year-old enjoyed the ambiance. It's certainly not kid-UNfriendly.“
“Started coming to Burger Press when they opened and have always found the food to be great tasting, made quickly, and staff to be very accommodating. The menu options are exactly what you would like to see! I switch between the burger meal and the chipotle cheesesteak meal. Highly recommend!“
“We came to this place with our cat because we were out for a walk and were hungry. The staff is very friendly and allowed us to take him with us, which we were very surprised at! It’s actually very nice place. The menu is varied and the portions are large. Orders arrived quite quickly. The waiters are friendly and make you feel at ease. The dishes are incredibly delicious! We were left with a good impression☺️“
“We went as a party of five on Easter Sunday. The staff were attentive and helped us with any of the issues. Why does this establishment have large tables set directly outside the bathrooms that look into each restroom as the door opens, and the smell of the bathroom wave out while you are eating? They tried to seat us at one of those and I asked for a different table, which they did accommodate as the server told us that the tables were already assigned and not sure that they could move us. For the quality of dining at a restaurant like Salut, I am aghast they would have tables within 6 feet of bathroom doors of which you can look right into when people exit and enter. The food was delicious. They did serve us an under flavored bowl of French onion soup, which they corrected when we notified them. The staff agreed that it was not up to par, and gave us a free bowl. The second was amazing. I would recommend this restaurant, but if you were calling to make a reservation, I would specifically request not to be seated at the bathroom tables. Come on y'all!“
“I've loved My Burger since going to the stadium village location when I was in college and it's stayed consistently great over the years! I really like that the burger box comes with fries by default. I'm a fan of this new Edina location! It's bright + conveniently located and parking is easy. I got my go to order, a turkey burger with sriracha mayo, and it was perfect! I've been twice and service was great, the place was super clean, and the burgers and fries were delicious.“
