“Food was absolutely amazing. We've been here a few times and it's consistently top notch.Unfortunately I can't say the same about the service. Our waitress on our most recent trip practically threw the menus at us then ignored us for half an hour, drinks took a while, food arrived promptly, but then we waited another half hour to order some desert to go which it turns out was sent home in a to-go order so we had to wait longer for them to remake it.Atmosphere was very comfortable in the dining room, upscale sports bar in the bar during trivia. Full bar, clean bathrooms.“

Great hospitality and was so helpful with questions on the menu. The food was 9/10 the experience along with all the screens was wonderful. Will be back again!“
“Stopped in for an early and impromptu dinner with a friend who was having A Day. She had the tenderloin, I had the sea bass, and we split some mashed potatoes. The food was great and the drinks (Heather’s Heart for her, flight of whiskies for me) were tasty.Better than all of that, though? The service. Our server, Jonna, was attentive, thoughtful, knowledgeable, and sympathetic to my friend’s rough day, and honestly provided a spark of positivity to the evening. “A really great experience. For us, different new cuisine, made in an accessible and delicious way. The plating was appetizing. The bison, soups and yes....the snack like popcorn crickets were our favorites. A very helpful server and all the staff was friendly and nice. Very glad we went on a visit from New York. Location was pretty too.“
“Been coming here since it opened. Always have had a great experience. Most recently we had a quick snag with an overcooked steak. Our server Lauren saved the day and took care of it immediately. Rare steak was in front of me in minutes and I was able to enjoy the rest of the meal with my family still eating. Really appreciate her quick work. She went above and beyond. “I was very pleased that even though our reservation was 12:30, the sound level was quite reasonable and we didn't have to raise our voices to hear each other. Our waitress was very nice and attentive and we enjoyed our sandwishes very much. I did bring a new friend who feels the same as I do, so she might become a new customer. I do enjoy Mill Valley Kitchen. It is a hike for me; I live on the Mississippi River, but worth the trip.“
