“While most of the staff were very nice and the food and drinks were very good. Several people in our party of 10 were charged for items we did not order. Be careful and look at your bill. They did fix the issue but it was concerning. Had we not paid close attention we would have been overcharged.“

The talk around the shop about this event and the delicious food went on for days! We all had such a great experience from start to finish. They made it so easy to plan, set up, host and tear down. “Known for their “Jucy Lucy” which are 2 Patties with cheese cooked inside. My family that lives here likes the Jucy Lucy and especially the fries from here. During the summer they say there are long lines out the door. We can here in December and it was pretty busy for a week night. They only accept cash or checks, no card. We were lucky and got seated quickly, service was also quick and I asked for a beer that goes well with it. My sister in law got a chicken sandwich and I put her lettuce in my Jucy Lucy. Beware to not bite into it quickly because the cheese squirts out. Every bite I took the cheese indeed came out and burned me. Their fries are really good. I opted to keep the pickles and onions in the burger which I enjoyed. It was nice inside and they still had Christmas decorations making it feel like a Christmas bar. “We recently had dinner for 9 on a Friday night to celebrate my Mom's 80th birthday and our godfather's 90th. We brought along a menu that we had from the 1960's to show staff . . . prices have changed, but not much else except the carpet, which is as it should be . . . quality is quality! As my Mom noted, we had a DINING experience; we were not just quickly and mindlessly served. Because of that, us younger-fold will be back to JAX to enjoy that experience. But for one night, the JAX staff and owners helped our parents and godfather celebrate old times and again enjoy a "night out on the town" they will not soon forget! It was nice to be able to customize it the burger options, and his transparency about the uncharges was very much appreciated. I got the "Kinda Fancy" Jalepeño King with sweet pickles and mushroom and a side of sweet potato fries with siracha mayo. Both. We're. Fire. Atmosphere was chill and relaxing.

The dog gets a 3 course meal, with different choices & ranging from $13 to $26.00 for all. The drinks also seem very unique, and I love all the effort they have put into this place. Food was actually really good and good portions for the price. But the service ruined it. I can't recommend this place and don't know if we will back. Plenty of other places with good food that actually have good service.“

“Lost my comment. Try again. On May 19th a group of family members went to the Bloomington Culvers. We were celebrating my grandsons grade school concert. I was unable to go up front to order and my son asked if someone could help me. Jose (spelling) I believe was the night manager. He came back to my table and took my order. He was so gracious and kind. I so appreciated his help. I didn't have the right walker and it would have been difficult without help to go up front. I can't thank him enough. It is so nice to go to a restaurant and know everyone is so friendly and willing to make your experience a good one. Thank you Don and Misty for such a wonderful crew. “I have eaten here couple times and thr good is great. Love the farm to table food. I am a big person on fresh quality and not prepackaged foods and this place is amazing for the food. Both times I was there around brunch on a Saturday and the breakfast menu was really good both times. I got a breakfast bowl with carnitas meat and it was amazing. Lots of flavor, texture, color in the bowl from crispy potatoes to delicious carnitas to a smooth and silky and cooked perfectly. The pickled stuff in it was different and a great contrast to the other parts. The micro greens are a current favorite to added nutritional boost and getting these on both plates here was awesome. The bowl was a lot of food added meat made it right amount for me, the added meat not necessary but highly recommend.
The eggs benedict was a different take. It is one of my favorite breakfast menu items. This take I could appreciate the concept but it was a 4 star for me. I really liked the cornbread that you can tell is fres and made in house if not at least near by. That was a great variant that I may have to acquire when I make it at home. The ham was delicious, it said maple cured and we use only pure at home no maple flavored but the maple flavor I was hoping for more of a pop from, maybe using a little maple syrup in the hollandaise sauce? Anyway the eggs were perfect and topped with micro greens as well. The hollandaise was, well not enough, or jot enough of a flavor, it was minimal and really felt like an after thought rather than a main focus which when ordering a Benedict the 3 things are required, a great hollandaise that is fore front, a take on ham, and a base. They had 2 of 3 spot on. Thus I would say 4 out of 5 for it great meal still don't get me wrong but could have used a touch more hollandaise with a bit more of a flavor or focus on that aspect. Great place will be back. Also like how they jave some fresh produce, baked goods, and farm fresh meats in coolers there.“

It’s a sports bar, you can watch the Vikings games there. If you like that you’re definitely in the right place. They have some vegetarian options and different salads. My stir fry sautéed vegetables with noodles were decent.
They have Bingo Tuesdays. They have a happy hour too.
The service was ok. You can pay by card or cash. It’s pretty reasonable priced. The portions are big. There’s a parking lot in front of the building.

“Every valentines day my husband and I try a new steak restaurant. We love steak amd I couldnt cook it

In 2021 we could not go out for steak due to covid. Sample room had a take and bake meal with clear instructions. It was a great meal with baby steaks and veggies etc. But since that day I am not afraid to cook steak because of the precise instructions. They gave me what I needed.

It's now 2024 and I rock at cooking steak.
