“Great service…great food…great prices!“

“Situated beautifully along the lake with fantastic sunset views, COV Wayzata offers a wonderful ambiance that is especially enjoyable when the temperature permits outdoor seating. The service was exceptional throughout our visit, beginning with the highly accommodating staff who graciously allowed us to place our first round of happy hour drink and appetizer orders just minutes before the window closed. The tap beer selection is superb, and we started with the truffle fries, which were paired perfectly with a delicious truffle aioli.

One of the main courses we ordered was the steak frites accompanied by green asparagus and béarnaise sauce. While the flavor of the steak was excellent, the cut itself lacked a bit of tenderness. Additionally, while the restaurant boasts a strong wine list, the pricing reflects a remarkably steep markup; a bottle that typically retails for around $40 was priced at $155, which feels a bit excessive (normal for me as a Swede in Sweden, but not in the US…) Despite the steep wine prices, we ended the evening on a high note with a genuinely phenomenal Key Lime Pie. Overall, COV provides a highly memorable lakeside dining experience bolstered by top-tier service.“

I'm telling you, just show up. We ordered the Jumbalaya for an appetizer... unbelievable. So flavorful.

Our server was engaging and her personality was fun. Real people with real service and real food.

The Justin cab, watermelon sugar high, and salted caramel White Russian (among other drinks) are seriously AMAZING! Servers and bartenders are top notch. This is our new weekly spot.“

“Ryan was the absolute best server that I have encountered in my life! I have an anaphylaxis food allergy. He was so on top of making sure that whatever I ordered wasn't going to be an issue. He checked with the head chef 3 different times about different entrees, so I could have the best experience. We are from out of town and will definitely be back due to the great service provided. “The service is horrible. Waited 20mins before getting someone to take just our drink order and it was the bartender from inside not even our server that noticed we were still sitting there with nothing. Then barley good service once our waiter did finally come. We all could have had another drink but never could since we werent asked till after we were done with food. Food was actually really good and good portions for the price. But the service ruined it. I can't recommend this place and don't know if we will back. Plenty of other places with good food that actually have good service.“

“Food was very good. My mom got the shrimp lemon and chicken pasta which was FANTASTIC 10/10 on that. My dad got the pot roast stroganoff which was also fantastic another 10/10. I got the prime rib French dip which the sandwich was fantastic, however the au jus was very bland which was disappointing. The tater tots were awesome. Would definitely eat here again!!“

Maynard’s has always had my favorite summer Margarita on the wharf, but this year it has been inconsistent and they added orange juice is a skinny spicy Margarita! First of all no self-respecting margarita has orange juice, and second of all, you can’t make a skinny margarita with pure sugar in orange juice. Please put it back and make it consistent so we can rely on having a great drink every time.“

They have a great combination of indoor and out door seating. It’s also located on the Main Street in excelsior with lots of local shops, the lake, and the commons park all within walking distance. The regional bike trail runs right by there as well making it a great destination or place for a quick stop.“

“I have been to Pub 42 many times either by myself or with a party up adds of 6 people. The atmosphere is inviting and friendly. We have had the pleasure of having Riley and Iza as our servers on many occasions and I can’t stress how kind and accommodating both of them are, I have celiac disease and they are knowledgeable about the ingredients and the process of the food so that I am safe when eating there. Including the double checking and making sure that my food is gluten free, and with very limited chance of cross contamination. Both do a great job of making sure the food is good and arrives at an appropriate time, while being friendly and kind and connecting with us as patrons. I would recommend pub 42 to anyone and everyone and tell them to request being seated in either Riley or Iza’s section to guarantee them the best of service available.“

“I don't normally write reviews unless I get bad service. But I find this Perkins in Maple Grove MN to be Awesome. This is my families Perkins of choice passing by two others much closer Perkins just to go to the Maple Grove location. Our server Taylor was attentive, polite and very in tune to our groups needs. She is and example of what a waitress or waiter should be. The food was great and the building / bathroom cleanliness was expletory. My hats off to the manager and staff of the Maple Grove Perkins just south of 694 on Hemlock Lane.“

The guy at the register was so nice had a smile on his face every time he greeted customers and it was busy and very warm on Sunday 9/15. “Well, let's see. I thought it was going to be like a sit-down, relax restaurant. Take your time. Might take a little while for your food to come out. Our server, Ashley, was nice. Quick to come take our order, quick to offer a refill when the beverage ran out. Our meals came out so quickly, though. It felt like not even 20 minutes went by after we placed the order and BAM meals arrive. They must've read my order incorrectly. I said no bleu cheese and it came out with bleu cheese. They brought it back and then like 20 minutes later, brought me a new plate. It looked like they just scraped the side dishes from the original plate to the new plate. They were cold where the extra butter I ordered didn't even melt. The waffle fries on my wife's plate, in my opinion, were cold or old. Wife said they were fine. Service was great! Ashley provided a little discount since they messed up my order. Food on the other hand, felt more like a quick service restaurant versus a sit-down, relax restaurant. No offers for dessert. I didn't even see a dessert menu or on the main menu. This really wasn't the best experience, but not the worst experience. I only recommend Clive's because Ashley was so quick and friendly. For the rest, no I would NOT recommend Clive's.“

“We had a brunch for 16 people at 11am. While they weren't able to hold seating/make reservations; they were able to make it a very short waiting time. Page and the serving crew were amazing! We had no waiting time on ordering and our server was professional and speedy. They kept the drinks coming and we had someone in our party with a lot of special food needs and they were wonderful! First place we've been to where my husband could eat an entire meal to his fill. The food was delicious! No one in the entire party had a single complaint! Wonderful blueberry rice sausages, eggs, pancakes, taco salad, hot tea, coffee, French toast, hashbrowns, English muffins, toast, and more! The decor is adorable! We're so lucky to have found this little cafe as we're from all around the US here for a wedding. It seems to be a local favorite as it was packed! Younger generations and older and everywhere in between! THE go to place if you live in the area or if you're just visiting! You won't be disappointed! I was dining with a long-time friend and we had both travelled far to meet up. Rachel on staff saw my consternation when we submitted to eating the buffet a d graciously offered various alternative solutions in an aim to accommodate us. Besides that, she showed empathy and care at an extraordinary level which made this experience something even more special than it already was intended to be given it was a small reunion. The very sweet employee thought I was asking for one instead of just inquiring if they do that at this location and came back with one for the girls.
