“Great Irish/American comfort food on the menu. Irish Rolls were great, Shepherd Pie, and Meatloaf all done so well. Met Chef James at Twins game and made a special short 20 minute trip out from our downtown hotel. Food was worth the trip, staff was absolutely great and friendly. We brought our pup with us, plenty of outdoor sidewalk and patio seating, and a water dish provided. Will be back again.“

“I moved in earlier than I planned because there wa no reason not too. I am very happy at The Waters and so glad I made the move. The "cottages" are wonderful even though there is downsizing to get done. The staff is very helpful and cheerful. The food is great - besides the 'every day menu," there are specials for lunch and dinner. The menu is quite varied with chicken, beef/veal, pork, turkey and vegetarian.“

The tempura vegetables were crispy and the Thai dipping oil was so flavorful. The sliders were tender; the crispy chicken sandwich was crispy on the outside and tender inside.“

“Always a great time at Excelsior Maynard’s! If we come by boat or by truck! Parking is always a bit of an issue, a parking ramp is GREATLY NEEDED in that area! Food is great inside or out on the Wharf. We have fun throwing a game or two of bags, watching the boats go by & people watching while sippin’ on some cold beverages from the bar! You can’t go wrong with a day or night out at Maynard’s in Excelsior!“

“I took my nephew and his roommate to the Thanksgiving buffett today. The holiday decorations were very festive and pretty. The food was delicious, the drinks were reasonably priced, and I enjoyed the experience. The 21 year olds were full and happy when we left. I would go back for a similar offering in the future.“

“We had a brunch for 16 people at 11am. While they weren't able to hold seating/make reservations; they were able to make it a very short waiting time. Page and the serving crew were amazing! We had no waiting time on ordering and our server was professional and speedy. They kept the drinks coming and we had someone in our party with a lot of special food needs and they were wonderful! First place we've been to where my husband could eat an entire meal to his fill. The food was delicious! No one in the entire party had a single complaint! Wonderful blueberry rice sausages, eggs, pancakes, taco salad, hot tea, coffee, French toast, hashbrowns, English muffins, toast, and more! The decor is adorable! We're so lucky to have found this little cafe as we're from all around the US here for a wedding. It seems to be a local favorite as it was packed! Younger generations and older and everywhere in between! THE go to place if you live in the area or if you're just visiting! You won't be disappointed! “We love Primo! It's a small, intimate place in Long Lake with incredible Italian food. We started with calamari as an appetizer and it was among the best I've had. I think they add cheese on top of it? Really great. I enjoyed a pizza and side caesar salad for dinner and my wife also loved her spaghetti and meatballs. They make tiramisu on-site and that was also a home run.

“I can’t say enough positive things about the catering at the Maple Grove location. I had ordered sloppy joes for my Labor Day weekend camping trip. When I went to cook the meat, I discovered that they had given me taco meat instead. Which was, of course, disappointing. I called them the next day to let them know, and they couldn’t have been more apologetic and accommodating. No excuses were made. They just asked how they can make it right. I told the catering manager that all I really wanted were the sloppy joes and he insisted that he provide a side of my choice;anything I wanted. They made it all available for me the very next day and added mac and cheese to my order. When I arrived, the manager greeted me and asked me if there was anything else I might need. Customer service!! That is so rare these days and goes a long way!! I will continue to go to Hy-Vee because of the way I was treated! And all of the food was delicious!! Highly recommend!“
