Went to Tavern 23 for happy hour with a group and the menu variety honestly threw me off at first — sushi next to wood-fired pizza next to wok dishes? But it works. We got the crab crunch roll, a flatbread, and the cheese curds, and everything came out fast and fresh. Bar area has a good buzz to it, great for a casual group hang. Visited last week and enjoyed the outdoor seating area! The service was wonderful and the food was delicious!
Very nice experience. We had calamari, cooked perfectly, sauce with it was great. We just ordered hamburgers, very good. The fries were soggy,that seems to be a problem for lots of restaurants.
I would return to try more on the menu.
