“First time there with a great friend. We watched the playoff game & had a very delicious blue cheeseburger & tots. It was one of the best burgers we've had in a long time. Everyone was cheering on the Ravens, even though they lost to the Chiefs. Great friendly service & a warm, fun atmosphere.“

“So my honey decided to grab a couple "take home to bake" pizzas here tonight. I actually didn't even know they made homemade pizzas. (I am SUPER picky with my Philly pizza and its my "go-to").) It was beyond AWESOME! By far my favorite since I've moved to the St. Peter area. You could see and taste all the veggies and chicken.(I don't eat beef) Frickin YUM! “Decent bar food with busy local flair. Visited on a Gustavus Basketball night and the place was packed, which affected the service.Vegetarian options: You can substitute a portobello mushroom for a beef burger, which I found to be a great option.“
“It's changes hands (no longer Whiskey River). Other than no more BBQ ribs, it's the same place. My siblings & I took our 95 year old father for lunch and to see the birds. We love to birdwatch, and this place is awesome for it. The food is very good, reasonably priced. The staff is awesome. Great memories are made here.“
“Very good ? We went out on a Thursday night & my hubby had Beer, 24oz. Prime Rib with baked patato + Texas toast & salad bar. I had a Drink, 16oz. Walleye Pike with fries & salad bar.The Salad Bar choices :Salad with many different toppings & grated cheese, Cottage Cheese, Peaches & Watermelon, Vegetable Beef Soup, Patato Salad & Coleslaw, and a cold Noodle Salad.“
“Group of 8, food was brought out all together and our server was very nice. My breakfast meal was good but a bit dry and was just warm, would have liked it served to me fresh and hot but with our large group I understand they wanted to serve all the meals together.“

“Fantastic breakfast! Bloody Marys and Screw Ups are tasty, too (and 1 is included with the Red Eye Breakfast, which I recommend.) Eggs were perfectly cooked. Bacon was crispy as requested. Although I ordered white toast this time, the wheat toast is delicious (thick sliced and seedy on the outside). We sat on the patio, next to the bike trail, and enjoyed a beautiful morning while we dined. Great spot!“
“Their burgers are extremely under rated. Likely one of the best in town in my opinion.My only gripe with the place, and reason for docking one star, is that their claw machine is too loose. If you pick up even the smallest of animals and it would drop it for no reason. I literally pumped $35 into the machine going after a small scale Dinosaur while 8 other unnamed patrons watched in disbelief. I'm familiar with the ins and outs of these animal claw machines and from the data I've collected I'm fairly certain this one is rigged and set up for failure. I visited 4-3-24. I'm not interested in filling out any forms or go to your website but if you'd like to right your wrong I'd just like the Dino I pretty much paid for 6 times over. It's definitely owed to me and we all know it's still in the machine.“
“A nice lakefront summer spot. We didn't look for complicated food. The wings were done well. Bar options were low on stock. Had the fish basket on a different occasion, which was also done nice and crispy. The lakefront deck was mostly shaded in the early afternoon hrs. Enjoyed the stop.“
“When the locals share their favorite spot you know it’s going to be good. We were treated to the best buttermilk pancake. Homemade biscuits and a sausage gravy that was full of flavor with out beingOver powering with sausage. We also had a western skillet with hash browns done just right. Crispy but not overdone. The family was all there taking care of us and making us feel like an extension of their family. We look forward to coming back soon!“
