North Pole Restaurant Reviews
I'm going to say usually "YES" but "NO" for today.
I've experienced years of great meals and friendly service at The North Pole. Today was really the exception when I ordered my sandwich without lettuce. The waitress shook her head, I explained I would get sick from lettuce, no lettuce on the sandwich for me. I got about 3-4 distinct moments when she openly disapproved.

FAST - seated within a minute. Order taken by Kelly within 3 minutes. Food arrived within 10 minutes. Hot. Plentiful. Place was clean. All equipment appeared professional and in good order. Everyone worked as a team. I highly recommend this family run restaurant!
North Pole has been around in Newport for 70+ years. There is a reason for that - all good. I can’t eat their big pancake anymore, but it is fabulous!

The North Pole Restaurant offers a pleasant dining experience with good food and reasonable prices. The service can be hit or miss, with some waitstaff providing excellent attention and others lacking in friendliness. The restaurant is popular, often busy, but manages to maintain a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. Customers can expect prompt seating and efficient service, delivering hot, satisfying meals. Recently, many visitors praised the place for its lovely atmosphere, courteous staff, and amazing food, with one describing the pancakes as much larger than anywhere else. Though the restaurant has a history of friendly service and great meals, some guests experienced moments of disapproval from staff, such as when special requests are not well received. Overall, The North Pole continues to be a favored spot for good food and value, despite occasional service inconsistencies.
